Chapter 31: Everything about her was beautiful.

" As the company whenever we receive a new employee we always organize a small party for them but be it that you are the president's wife it's going to be a very big party and at the same time the new butter lotion project will be handed over to you. " May explained.

' Am I going to be given that high role ? " Alyssa asked herself in wonder and then looked at May.

" Oh , When is it ? " She asked.

" This weekend Ma'am. You are expected to organize it . " May added.

" That's a very big opportunity. I will try my best to bring it to the best. " Alyssa promised.

" I will be there if you need any help . I will leave now. "

At the Wong's Mansion..

Alyssa and Calcel were in the middle of the dinner that evening.

" Did secretary May inform you about the party ? " Calcel asked while he continued eating.

" She told me .." Alyssa responded softly.

" It's going to be a big occasion for the company so I expect you to do best of it. Failure to do it , You might lose the position of the marketing manager . " Calcel informed.

" I will try my best. " Alyssa murmured.

After the dinner , Alyssa went to her bed and read some other books she had come home with. She wanted to read hard to do her best time keep this big opportunity.

That morning , Calcel got up and refreshed before going for breakfast. He was done with it when he realized that Alyssa was no where to be seen. He decided to ask one of the maids who was cleaning the living room.

" Did Ms Alyssa leave ? " He asked.

" Not really . I haven't seen her this morning. " The maid answered.

' Has she forgotten about the party this quick and she is still in bed ? ' Calcel asked himself innery.

" Why didn't you get her up ? Have you forgotten that she has to work ? " Calcel asked coldly surprising the maid. Ever since Alyssa got married into this family , The maid had never seen Calcel concerned about Alyssa. But maybe he was concerned like the CEO of the company. The maid thought.

" It's my fault sir. I will go get her up right now ! " The maid muttered with a low bow in panic but before she turned to go , Calcel stopped her.

" I will go myself ! " He said . " Which room is hers ? ":He asked.

" The second room on the third floor. " The maid said.

Without waiting for anything else , Calcel rushed to the directed room. He wanted to rush inside and scold her but he didn't know what happened to him because as soon as he was at her door , He calmed down and decided to knock.

He knocked over five times but he wasn't getting any feedback so he decided to open the door and got inside the room when he got the shock of his life.

Alyssa lied there on the bed almost half naked. She had wore a short night dress that was so short and to make it worse the position she was sleeping on was the worst that the dress stopped slightly below her hips. Her thighs were all exposed and Calcel clearly saw this. She slept soundly with her long beautiful hair scattered all over the bed. He gulped in astonishment. There were over five books scattered over her bed meaning she had been reading hard the whole night till she didn't dozed off.

" Did she do this intentionally to seduce me ? " He asked himself looking at how beautiful everything about her was. His heart started pumping faster than before that he raised his hands to calm his heaving chest down. But she was his step mother , Calcel put that back in his mind and closed the door again before he could think deep.

He hurried back downstairs to the living room where Jenny had just arrived.

" Good morning Calcel.." Jenny greeted.

" Go ask Ms Alyssa to get up right now ! " Calcel shouted more like in a commanding tone.

" Oh she's still asleep ? Am sorry. I will go get her up now. " Jenny said and hurried to Alyssa's room but she had noticed Calcel's strange face. He looked as if he had seen something scary.

Calcel looked at his wrist watch and decided to leave when he met David at the door.

" Father , You are back ? " He asked surprised to see him.

" Yes , How are you " David said and asked.

" Am doing well. What happened ? " Calcel asked in gasp.

" It was just a simple task I had to accomplish. How so far with Alyssa , Is she doing her work very well ? " David asked.

" Am...I ....I..She.. hasn't started working in the department ." Calcel stammered.

" But are you alright ? " David inquired noticing how panicked Calcel looked.

" Of course yes Dad. I will take my leave.." He squealed and dashed out immediately.

In Alyssa's room , Jenny got inside and found Alyssa still sleeping in her intimate position. Jenny smiled at this , She didn't care about her exposed body but looked at the scattered books.

" She must he really studying do hard. ":Jenny exclaimed and moved to Alyssa's bed.

" Alyssa ? " She called patting her shoulder.

" Mom , What is it ? ! " Alyssa asked sheepishly in her sleep.

" Wake up and go for work ! " Jenny said .

" No..I don't want to work .." Alyssa murmured again in her sleep.

Jenny smiled and got the alarm clock that was on the bed side table. She placed the alarm that it's loud noise was finally able to wake Alyssa up.

" Oh my God ! " Alyssa exclaimed as she jumped off the bed.

" Ms Jenny , What's the time ? " She asked her eyes widely open.

Jenny laughed at how scared Alyssa looked like . " Why are you laughing ? " Alyssa asked pouting her lips.

" It's almost 10AM , Calcel left already. " Jenny said.

" Gosh ! How can be so late on such a day. I have to hurry to catch up ! " Alyssa muttered and hurried to her bathroom.

Jenny decided to leave the room. She wasn't aware that Calcel had come to the room . After having a quick shower , Alyssa got dressed up and hurried to the company.
