Chapter 120: From Alyssa to Marvis.

NOTE: FROM THIS CHAPTER ONWARDS, ALYSSA WILL NE REFERRED TO AS MARVIS AND MARVIS AS ALYSSA SO DON'T GET CONFUSED.

He was actually running and panting.

" Madam Gladys..." Calcel called. Gladys got up amd when Calcel reached before her he gave her a hug.

Gladys hugged him back and the tears that had stopped came back.

" Calcel...Alyssa...I don't know if she will be fine. " Gladys cried.

" Don't worry,She will make it. " Calcel tried to comfort her but his ears could no longer hold his tears too.

They parted from the hug and Gladys looked up at him still in tears.

" Your baby....she couldn't save it. " Gladys declared making Calcel get in shock again.

He swallowed hard feeling himself weak and turned to walk away slowly. He had just turned when he saw May coming from that direction.

" Calcel...did inquire ? How is she ? " May asked but surprisingly Calcel walked past her as if he had not heard what she asked.

He continued walking slowing making one step per second. He was now behaving like a zombie.

May turned to look at him.

' Calcel , I am sorry that you have to pass through this pain. But very soon I will become to smile to your face. '

May said innery and then turned back to face Gladys. Gladys knew May very well and she was surprised to see her hear.

" Ms Gladys. Sorry about Alyssa. How is she ? " May asked forging her sympathetic face again.

" She is still in the operation room. " Gladys answered in sobs.

" ..How about the baby.. ? ..." May asked the question she was so eager to. It was even the main reason why she had come to the hospital. To confirm if the baby was gone.

" We couldn't save the child.." Gladys declared.

" Ooh...Its It'sa pity. " May said and pulled Gladys into a hug.

They were like this when an old couple walked past them in rush but none of them saw them.

May pulled from the hug and said. " Let me first talk to Calcel, He might need someone to talk to. " May said and Gladys nodded so she left.

' I didn't know that you ate such a kind girl. You came to visit Alyssa yet she had a child with your husband ? ' Gladys wondered and concluded that May is a very caring person.

Gladys was watching May leave when finally she saw he daughter being from the room.

She knew must be Alyssa and therefore follwed them to the recovery room.

The old couple reached the door of the room Marvis jad been taken to and the man opened.

" Oh, Marvis my daughter. " The old man called amd sat down on the seat before the sick bed while the other woman stood.

It was Marvis' father and step mother. Robert Thompson and Matt Thompson.

" Don't cry . It's not that she is dead ! " Matt exclaimed.

" You can't feel the pain because she is not your daughter so you better shut up ! " Robert shouted at Matt.

" Why did I even come , Let me wait for you from outside. " Matt spoke and left the room.

She sneered when she was outside the room. " Now he is acting this way because his daughter got an accident. How would he be crying if she died ? This is driving me nuts. " Matt spoke while she walked along the corridor and she stopped right before the room.

" Now he's going to be caught up here. He won't have time for me. What the hell ! " Matt talked to herself in a loud voice as if she was a mad person and she yelled on saying ' What the hell'

Gladys who was inside the room heard this voice and decided to come out to find Matt standing there.

" Woman , What's wrong with you ? Why are you making noise for us ? " Gladys asked.

Matt gave her a digusted look and said.

" I have a right to speech. Don't I ? " Matt asked arrogantly.

" Yes . You do but you are making noise. My daughter is very ill, I don't want anything to disturb her. " Gladys said refering to the person who was inside not knowing that it was Marvis not Alyssa.

" You think you are the only person who has an ill daughter, My step daughter too is sick ? " Matt yapped.

" Then you should know that they need a quite environment. " Said Gladys.

" Geez ! Why is everyone here annoying ? " Matt questioned looking away.

They were like this when a nurse came and found them.

" Excuse me ! Who of you is Marvis' guardian ? " asked the nurse.

" It's me ! " Both the women replied confusing the nurse and after hearing their similar response they looked at each other. Then Gladys remembered the woman just saying that she also had a sick daughter.

" Who are you ? " Matt asked.

" Ooh, You must be Marvis' step mother. " Gladys said after also remembering the story about Marvis that Alyssa had told her.

" Yes I am. And who are you and why are you calling yourself Marvis' guardian ? " Asked Matt.

" I am the woman who gave your daughter a new life after you and her father dumped her. " Gladys said this to Matt and then looked at the nurse.

" Nurse, I guess the person you needed to talk to is me. " Gladys said and left with the nurse.

The nurse took Gladys to the head doctor's office.

" Are you Marvis' guardian ? "

" Yes Doctor. I am the guardian to both the girls. " She answered.

" We have checked Marvis and she is in a safe condition now. But for Alyssa , She will neee more attention. "

" The doctors told me Sir. " Said Gladys.

" Oh , I called you to say that we shall need you to pay money first before we continue treating the girls. " Said the doctor.

" I am ready sir. How much is it ? " Gladys asked.

" How about we total it up after treating their faces. You know they were damaged, We shall need clear photos of them. " Said the doctors.

" I have for Alyssa, And Marvis I hope her father has one. " Gladys said

" You mean her parents are here ? " The doctor was surprised.

" Yes. I didn't also expect those heartless people to come. "

" Don't worry. I will talk to them because their daughter needs them. "

When Calcel had left he went to his car and drove off in tears. He was crying because he had lost his unborn child.

May managed to catch up and saw him enter his car so she got in hers and started following him.

When he started the car she also started hers.
