Chapter 60 : Gajeel!!

"Fairy Tail?!"

The demeanor of everyone in Phantom Lord shifted. They had just mentioned Fairy Tail, but now, unexpectedly, Fairy Tail had arrived at their doorstep.

"A Fairy Tail wizard has the audacity to stir trouble within Phantom Lord! They must truly lack any sense of self-preservation!"

"Eliminate them!!"

Kyros exuded an aura of overwhelming arrogance.

The Conqueror's Haki wasn't just shocking; it exuded immense destructive power.

Magical light ignited in the hands of many, hurling towards Kyros.

Spells collided with Kyros, resulting in explosions.

"Hahahaha! A mere mage dares to provoke Phantom Lord; they're as good as dead..."

"Om——!!" The smoke cleared, revealing Kyros standing unscathed.

A halo of overpowering aura encircled Kyros before spreading outward.

Throughout the guild, members collapsed, many fainting.

Kyros glanced at the fallen foes and remarked, "Phantom Lord Guild is nothing. I fail to see why you'd provoke Fairy Tail."

"Monstrous...!"

The few still conscious gazed at Kyros in horror. They hadn't imagined that in mere moments, so many Phantom Lord mages would fall to Kyros's power.

"Enough. Where's your Guild Master, Jose?"

Killing these weaklings was pointless. To truly deter them, Fairy Tail needed to strike hard enough to prevent further provocations.

Suddenly, a loud cry rang out: "Iron Dragon Club!!"

An iron rod materialized behind Kyros, swinging towards his head.

Kyros dodged the attack effortlessly, as though he had eyes in the back of his head.

"Gajeel!!"

Phantom Lord members saw Gajeel as their savior. Gajeel, the Iron Dragon of Phantom Lord, was second only to their guild leader in strength. He would surely vanquish this intruder.

As Kyros beheld Gajeel, he recognized him instantly—the Iron Dragon.

A former enemy turned comrade within Fairy Tail.

"So, you're the one who decimated Fairy Tail." 

Gajeel snarled. "And what if I am? I expected Fairy Tail to cower in fear, not come knocking at our door. But since you dared, you won't leave. Instead, I'll deliver you as a gift to Fairy Tail!"

"Iron Dragon Club!!"

Gajeel bellowed, his arm transforming into an iron rod, hurtling towards Kyros.

Kyros remained unmoved, seemingly unaffected by Gajeel's assault.

"Boom!"

Gajeel's iron rod struck Kyros's chest with a dull thud.

Yet, Kyros remained stationary, his expression unchanged, as if the blow hadn't landed at all.

"What?!" Gajeel's expression shifted.

Kyros reached out, effortlessly seizing the iron bar before him. With a swift motion, he spun it around, exerting an irresistible force on Gajeel's arm, launching him into the air.

"Wow!"

"Boom boom boom!"

Gajeel's body skidded against the wall, shattering it, but he swiftly unlocked his magic. The earlier attack had inflicted minimal damage.

Fixing his gaze on Gajeel, Kyros spoke, "Boy, although you may not be the mastermind, your actions led to the destruction of the Fairy Tail guild, and you must face the consequences."

Even if Gajeel would join Fairy Tail in the future, Kyros wouldn't forgive him for the guild's potential demise.

"Then let's see if you're up to the challenge!"

Gajeel stomped, propelling himself upward.

"Iron Dragon Sword!"

Gajeel's arm transformed into a serrated blade, aiming for Kyros's head.

Casually, Kyros lifted his hand.

"Snap!"

Kyros caught Gajeel's sword mid-air. Reacting swiftly, Gajeel raised his leg, morphing it into an iron dragon stick and directed it towards Kyros's head.

"Hmph!"

Kyros snorted, unleashing the imposing aura within him, directly striking Gajeel's body.

"Wow! Ahh!"

Gajeel cried out as he was sent hurtling.

"Boom!" crashing into the wall.

"Whoa!"

Gajeel quickly rose from the debris, his eyes blazing with determination as he faced Kyros.

"Intriguing. Though I've heard tales of the 'Immortal Demon King' for some time, I didn't anticipate your strength."

"You're far weaker than I imagined."

Gajeel grinned, retorting, "Not to worry! This is just the beginning!"

"Iron Dragon Scales!"

Gajeel's body was enveloped in steel-like scales.

"Iron Dragon's Steel Fist!"

Gajeel bellowed as he surged ahead, aiming a punch straight at Kyros's face.

Kyros remained motionless, allowing Gajeel's fist to connect squarely with his face.

"How... how is this possible?!" Gajeel exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief as he witnessed Kyros emerge unscathed from his own forceful attack.

"Is that all you've got?" Kyros turned her gaze towards Gajeel, speaking with contempt.

Gajeel suddenly felt a surge of profound insult. As the ace of the Phantom Lord Guild, no one dared to belittle him.

"You insolent fool! How dare you underestimate me!"

"Underestimate you? Then at the very least, you should possess the strength to earn my underestimation!"

With a clenched fist, Kyros struck Gajeel squarely in the face. Gajeel, standing firm, intended to endure Kyros's blow. After all, he was the Iron Dragon Slayer, and his metallic scales were impervious to most attacks.

However, as Kyros's fist collided with his face, he felt an overwhelming force crashing against him.

"Ughhhhhhhhh!!"

Gajeel's agonized cry echoed through the air as his body was sent hurtling backwards.
