80. Ben's Excitement

Ben comes out from the stones that buried him with a bloody appearance. His clothes were also tattered because of the stone bullets. But he is grinning excitedly because it's been a long time since he get this injured.

"As B-Class creatures, your magic isn't so bad. It seems fighting you with magic weapons will make this less interesting," says Ben.

"Hmph, so humans like to boast when they lose," says Grossalia.

"Boasting or not, you can see it later. Heat Mode: Scorching Body!" says Ben while forming his magic.

A red magic circle appears above Ben's head. It goes down and passes Ben's body until his feet. When the magic circle reaches his feet, Ben's body starts to glow reddish.

*PSHH*

Steam comes out from Ben's body, showing that his body temperature rises. His body temperature keep rising until the ground where he stand turned red. The blood on his skin gets dried up and his wounds get closed because of the heat.

This is Ben's Heat Mode: Scorching Body, it makes his body temperature rise to 3000 Celsius. It's one of his basic transformation modes that utilize one of his basic elements, heat.

Ben spread his legs & hands, then gather more MP in his body. "First, I'll fry the small fries. Energy Release: Heatwave!"

As he said that, Ben releases a wave of heat from his body. The wave that he released has bright red color. Ben released a heatwave with 3000 Celsius temperature and spread it to cover this whole underground room.

The heatwave spread and hit the remaining creatures. Ben has killed 56 of the E-Class creatures, but there are 132 more of them. This attack will hit every one of them, including the higher-ranked ones.

*SWISH*

Ben's heatwave reaches the creatures and hits them.

"SCREECH!" the creatures feel the very hot energy and scream.

The higher-ranked creatures cover their body with magic power. The E-Class ones also try to do the same, but their magic power is too low to protect their body from the heatwave.

Ben's heatwave raised the underground room temperature a lot. It dried up the wet ground and make the room get covered in mist. Now, even the Metepedes who are used to darkness can't see anything.

The heatwave lasts for half a minute, but it's enough to cook the E-Class creatures to death. The B-Class creatures survived, but they get some burnt injuries. Only the low S-Class and Grossalia can survive without any scratch.

"MY CHILDREN! DAMN YOU HUMAN! HOW DARE YOU KILL MY CHILDREN?! I WON'T FORGIVE YOU," shouts Grossalia angrily.

"Shouting to me won't change anything. If you want to kill me, then just do it! Plasma Mode: Radioactive Body!" says Ben while deactivating his Heat Mode.

A bright orange magic circle appears above his head like before. Then it passes through his body and goes to his feet again. Ben's body then starts to glow bright orange and bright orange flame also comes out from his body.

Plasma mode is the combination of Heat, Fire, and Light elements. It uses more MP than the basic elements mode. But it also has more power, so if Ben used it, that means he is very serious to win.

This mode has a high temperature like heat mode at 3000 Celsius. It has big firepower like Fire Mode and creates more damage. It makes him faster like Light Mode, although not as fast as Light Mode's max speed.

But the unique feature of Plasma Mode is its radiation. This mode creates radiation that can damage living beings if they get too close to Ben. Of course, it is a magical effect, not physical, so it can be blocked with stronger magic.

The underground room is filled with mist, but Ben's location can be seen clearly as he is glowing orange brightly now. Grossalia commands her remaining children, which are 17 B-Class & 2 S-Class to attack Ben.

They do as she says and rushes at Ben. The B-Class Metepedes move while shooting stone bullets from their front legs. As for the S-Class Metepedes, they shoot dark element bullets.

Ben can't see the incoming bullets as the room is full of mist. But he can sense the magic power of those bullets. He runs to the right at high speed and avoids the bullets.

Ben senses a B-Class Metepede ahead of him, so he runs there. The Metepedes keep shooting their bullets at Ben who can be seen easily amidst the mist. But Ben is too fast for them to aim their bullets correctly.

In a short time, Ben reaches the B-Class Metepede that becomes his target. He jumps to its head from below and forms his fingers into claws. Ben then swipes his claws up toward the Metepede's lower head.

"Sun Dragon's Plasma Claw!"

*SWISH*

Ben's claw attack creates 5 sharp red flying blades. It hit the B-Class Metepede's body and moves toward its head. The red blades are very sharp and hot that they cut & burn the 1st Metepede's into 6 slices, killing it.

After Ben cut the 1st Metepede, the ground where he stands shot up. He gets pushed up by a stone pillar toward another B-Class Metepede that has waited for him. The 2nd Metepede jump down from the ceiling toward Ben who moved up.

Ben gets into a stance and lowers his body. He cocked his right hand behind him and form a claw again. The 2nd Metepede also prepare its attack. It covers its head with a thick layer of stone that becomes like a mask to hit Ben.

Ben grins and says, "You want to turn me into mince meat? How about you become one yourself? Sun Dragon's Plasma Fist!"

Ben turns his claws into a fist and puts more MP on it. When the 2nd Metepede reaches him, Ben punches it very hard. He hit the thick stone mask with his glowing hot fist.

*BAM*

The clash creates a loud impact sound and a small shockwave. Ben's punch hits the thick stone mask and it starts to crack. Then Ben shoots the energy from his punch outward to destroy the stone mask and even the 2nd Metepede completely.

Ben looks down and sees the other Metepedes has crawled up to him through the pillar. He grins and opens both of his hands to form claws again. Then he jumps down toward the closest B-Class Metepede.

This 3rd Metepede creates a big stone bullet from its mouth and shoots it at Ben. He just uses his right-hand claw to swipe the stone aside. The Metepede creates another big stone bullet, but Ben reaches it before it finishes.

Ben grabs the already formed stone from above and he slams it down to the 3rd Metepede's mouth. The stone is a magical thing, so it doesn't really get into its mouth, but it disappears because the magic gets canceled.

However, the sudden cancellation of the magic spell can create a backlash. The 3rd Metepede receives a backlash, which makes his MP unstable for a moment. Ben uses that moment to attack the 3rd Metepede.

Ben gets on its head, then goes to the segment between the head & body. He slips his hands into it and grabs both sides of the carapaces. Then Ben uses his strength to open it up and sever the 3rd Metepedes' head.

The dead Metepede falls to the ground with Ben standing on it. He looks around at the other Metepedes that become a little wary of him now. Their late reaction makes Ben grins and he raise his hand to taunt them.

"What's wrong with you? Aren't you going to attack me?" says Ben with a mocking tone.

"SCREECH!" screams the Metepedes as they rush at Ben.

The Metepede get taunted and they attack again. Ben grins because this battle has become more exciting for him.
