The village - Part 2

The sound of metal on being hammered filled the air as they came closer to the smithy, the one they went to was in the middle of a line of them. It was a medium sized building with an open plan allowing customers to see through the shop. There wear 4 people in the smithy working on the forges and 2 other people finishing the work from the forges, by the side of them there was multiple barrels full of different style of swards, axes, spear and many more. As Gil and Tash went to the shop they looked for someone to speak to.

"Ill be with you in one second" A female voice came from somewhere in the back. Tash thought this voice sounded familiar but couldnt place it.

"How can we help you at "The Phoenix Forge", we specialise in fire mana weapons but can make other items on request." A girl started saying this as she walked to the two. She had light brown hair that was tied in a bun, and was wearing a forging apron covered in soot and had some smeared across her face.

"You where my roommate before i moved" Tash stated as she finally said remembering the girl.

"Ah so you are the first one that decided they are to good to be with me" The old room mate retorted.

"Sorry, it wasnt that you weren't good enough its just that i preferer spending time by my self"

"You dont seem to mind spending time with him" Now pointing to Gil. Now noticing that there was someone she recognised from the school and a boy at that she dropped her clipboard and ran to the back room. After washing her face and putting a new white top on she came back out.

"So, how can I help you today" She directed this question to Gil not the two if them.

"We were wondering if you had any swords for discount, I am looking for something about this length" Gil pulled his sword from the his back handing it to the girl.

"My name is Lucy, may i know yours" Lucy asked she never knew the name of the girl, she left in the morning and when she came back her belongings where gone.

"My name is Natasha, and im sorry if i hurt your feelings i didnt mean to" Tash said with a smile on her face.

"My name is Gil" Lucy instantly know who Tash was due to her fame in the school, the only thing she didnt know was her name, she wondered who this Gil was as for someone to be with Tash they had to be special.

"You probably know me by my other name in school, Silver" After Gil said his school nick name Lucy's attitude changed. She had one one of the school beauties and one of the most hard working students both at here shop.

"What type of budget are you looking at spending, so i can show you what we have" Lucy asked.

"Im not after anything as i have my battle staff, Si what is your budget." Tash asked.

"I think i could do 7,000 credit and still have enough for the year"

"If you would like i could lend you some?" Tash offered.

"Im okay, but thank you. I was just wanting to see what they offer, if i cant afford any ill use the schools one."

Whilst the two where talking Lucy looked at the sword Gil handed her and listening to them talk.

"I dont think you will be able to afford anything build by the other smiths, but i have some blades i made myself if you wanted to look?" Lucy asked.

Lucy walked to a barrel near the end of the shop and took out some weapons an put them on a table.

"These are the ones with similar parameters as your short sword and within your budget

1. There is this large dagger made from the remaining tusk of and ogre chieftain mixed with some low level mithril from the portal in Serv. It doesnt have any special power bust but the edge is sharp and very durable.

2. This is kopis inspired sword made from me attempting to mix iron and mithril. This has similar properties to the dagger but is lighter and longer.

Lastly this is one that i made with no image in mind."

The last one she held had a blade like the kopis but the blade went past the handle and connected to a small blade at the bottom.

"This was one i am most proud of, it is made from the horn of a baby dragon that a hunter found and traded here for a dragon sword. The horn was to small to make anything but a dagger and it was a waste to make one as dragon sword are much stronger. My dad who is the owner of the shop gifted it to me when I joined the school and let me forge it into a blade. I wanted to make it as long as possible as a dragons horn absorbs mana better then most materials, however I made it to thin for most peoples comfort. The blade it's self is ridiculous strong wind wouldn't break under the normal pressure other sword would. The handle is crafted from the antler of a crystal deer, I stained the body of the sword black and the edge white matching the handle. It will cost about 8,500 credits but I'll sell it for 7,500 if I can be your personal blacksmith" Lucy could have talked more about the sword but though best to keep it light. She had hoped to be the blacksmith to several people in school increasing her family's shop and who better the Silver she thought.

When she said the price Gil would have agreed to be her servant. He wanted that sword and would trade nearly every thing as the system said it would increase all stats by 10%.

"I would be honoured to have you as my blacksmith Lucy." Gil said and meant it.

Taking the sword and buying a sheath for it he left and said they will meet up again at school for some food and training.

Eager to get back and train with it Gil and Tash quickly finished there other bits of shopping getting some food for the dorm as well, they headed back to the school.
