29. Mana Core Awakening.
Orion stepped out of Lucretia's bedroom to see Lilith standing right outside the door.
Looking closely, it seemed like she had been pacing around worriedly before he opened the door.
"Has Her Majesty taken the potion?" She asked with a worried look on her face.
Before Orion entered the queen's room, when Lilith offered Lucretia the potion, she hadn't expected her to hold on to it and not drink it, but after hearing Orion's response, Lilith felt relieved.
"Yes, she has, but I need to see Jarvis first."
"Jarvis isn't in the castle right now. He went out to the city to check out a few things, but if you like, I could inform Sanjay to let Jarvis know of your desire to see him."
Hearing this, Orion pondered for a bit before replying. "Yes, I would like that. Thank you."
Sanjay was the royal chef of the castle, and Orion was certain that he would tell Jarvis to see him the moment he returned.
Lilith acknowledged his words before bowing and excusing herself to find Sanjay.
However, the moment she turned around to fulfill her task, Orion swiftly grabbed her hand before pulling her to him and sealing her lips with his.
"Huh?!!.... Mast.....hmmm."
He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him as her breasts pressed against his chest.
Lilith, on the other hand, didn't pull herself away from him. At first, she was shocked by his actions, but after his lips landed on hers, she proceeded to reciprocate the same affection he showed her.
Her tongue slowly began to twirl around his and the both of them continued to explore the other's mouth until the two of them parted their lips with a bridge of saliva between them.
"Once you are done, come to my room," Orion instructed.
Lilith's cheeks reddened instantly and she nodded in understanding before excusing herself again.
While walking, her heart pounded rapidly and her cheeks became so red as she imagined the countless things they were going to do in Orion's bedroom.
With the way he kissed her so passionately, Lilith was certain they were going to do a lot more of that in his room, and she couldn't stop herself from grinning from ear to ear while walking toward the kitchen.
She instinctively hastened her steps towards the kitchen as she didn't want to delay her beloved master. Moreover, she was looking forward to kissing and maybe cuddling him.
Who knew, they might even do more than that.
Meanwhile, Orion was currently walking towards his bedchambers, but unfortunately for him, he was unable to gauge Lucretia's strength when he tried using his skill [Appraisal] on her.
'She might be above a Second Order Mage,' He thought inwardly.
'Which may be the reason why I couldn't see her details,' Orion concluded in his thoughts, but this only made him have more respect towards his stepmother since she must have undergone intense training to achieve such a high cultivation order.
After all, She wasn't the strongest mage in the Southern kingdom for nothing.
Thinking back to the suggestions his stepmother made, Orion reminded himself to be extra careful in whatever his plans for eliminating the nobles would be.
This wasn't a game where he could restart the level again or return to a particular checkpoint.
This was his new reality.
He knew that one wrong move could not only lead to the death of his beautiful stepmother but could also lead to the death of his favorite sister and his beloved maid.
This was why his primary goal was the nobles of his own kingdom and not the King of the West.
Once he handled the internal problems of his kingdom and the demon invasion, Orion vowed within his heart to turn his attention towards the Western kingdom.
He was going to have the head of the King of the West.
He clenched his fist, as he anticipated the time when he would face off against King Ragnar Ironside, the King of the West.

A few minutes later, Orion was seated on his bed with his legs crossed as he tried to absorb the mana particles around him but was unable to.
Then, a knock was heard on his door.
"Come in."
Lilith walked in to find Orion sitting on his bed with his eyes closed and his legs crossed in a lotus position.
"Were you able to talk to Sanjay?" He asked, his eyes still closed while talking to her.
"Yes, and he'll let Jarvis know of your desire to see him."
"Good, thank you, Lilith. Now, please come to the bed," Orion patted the spot closest to him and Lilith's cheeks reddened as she walked towards his bed with her heart beating faster than ever before.
She climbed onto the bed, uncertain of what intimate activities they were going to embark on first, but Lilith was ready for anything her master wanted to do to her.
Noticing that Lilith was now on the bed with him, Orion called out to her.
"Lilith?"
"Y-yes master," She replied instantly while crawling towards him.
"Could you please explain what needs to be done for me to awaken my mana core?"
"Huh?"
She replied, sounding very surprised and confused by what she heard and this made Orion open his eyes, but to his surprise, Lilith was now in front of him, almost as though she had been about to kiss him. Her face reddened instantly when she noticed his eyes were open and their gazes met.
Orion smiled inwardly, swiftly understanding why she felt surprised, but he acted as though he was clueless about what she was expecting from him.
"Is something wrong?" He asked, but Lilith shook her head in response, trying her best not to express how disappointed she was to see that he called her here for something else, rather than what she initially had in mind.
Still, she was glad to see that Orion needed her help. And this made her feel a bit better.
"I-It's n-nothing master," she sat in the same meditation position as him. Then Lilith composed herself, ignoring all the naughty thoughts that filled her head so she could fully focus on what Orion had asked her to teach him.
Since Orion had awoken his dragon bloodline, Lilith knew that it was only a matter of time before he awakened his mana core.
After all, Orion was already eighteen years old.
"The first step is to close your eyes and relax your nerves," she advised.
