As Andromeda's fleet of mechs and fighters left at a terrifying speed, on the bridge of the Leukos Frigate Aterax had just given the orders for the main fleet to advance.

"Let me know when we have the exact calculation of our delay compared to Andromeda"

"We calculated it in a moment, Doc, these frigates are faster than normal line ships"

Aterax didn't mind the rest of the cadets calling him Doc, he was much older than them and they respected him for his prestigious previous career. He was also an example of dedication to the cause and the fight, abandoning everything to start from scratch and overcoming his personal tragedy.

The cadets on the bridge were doing comparative numbers, at the end a cadet called Epona who was especially good with three-dimensional calculations and gravitational influences caught his attention.
