"So Miss Dawson, what do you think of your new look?"
Angel brought a beautician from his pack to give Summer a new look, one that would make all heads turn and the work she had done for her had accentuated all Summer's features and made her look prettier than she already looked.
"Dazzling! Is this me?" Summer asked, staring in bewilderment at her reflection in the mirror. Her hair had been styled in a tight curl and it made her features sharper.
Angel chuckled and turned her chair around to face him.
"Of course, Miss Dawson. You're no longer going to age and will remain youthful like this."
"Wait, what?"
Angel's eyes widened, he remembered now that he forgot to mention it to her.
"Forgive me for not mentioning that earlier, you are now immortal and no human sickness, accidents, or things of that sort will kill you."
"Wow, that's unbelievable." Summer said.
Angel turned her chair back around and she was staring back at her reflection.
"Believe it, Sugar. You're now beautiful for infinity."
Summer looked down at her fingers solemnly, if Damien was here, he would have made lots of jokes about this and teased her.
"Are you thinking about your son?" She looked up at his reflection, Angel was staring at her with a soft expression.
"When do you want to see his body?"
Summer swallowed. "I can't, not right now… I can't face him."
Angel nodded and patted her shoulder, he didn't say anything but the gesture made Summer feel better. She wasn't sure she could face her son's body until she took revenge on Lucien Hamilton.
"As you wish, Miss Dawson." He pulled his hands away and stood up straight.
"Call me Summer." She said in a low voice, Angel would have missed that if he was human, he grinned at her.
"Of course, Summer. Your next appointment is shopping and I invited the perfect person to take you shopping."
"Who did you invite?" Summer asked, curiously.

"Summer, meet Rose Henson, my gamma and the CEO of Roses' fashion brand."
The lady in front of Summer was dressed in a cow print suite, and it was tailored to hug her lean and fit physique, she was between five feet, nine and six feet tall and gorgeous, her black hair was styled in a braided updo and her skin was flawless, with little makeup that accentuated her features. Her blue eyes screamed dominance.
"Wait, isn't roses' one of the top fashion brands in the world?" Summer asked. She felt like she had heard that name before from Josie…
Rose grinned at her and held out a hand to her.
"Number one brand in America and third in the world, I'm sure by next year we will make it to one. Nice to meet you finally, Miss Dawson"
Summer's eyes went wide, she was indeed correct. She grabbed her hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you also. I've heard a lot about you from-" The words got stuck in Summer's throat. Josie.
Bruno had said he would take care of Josie…
"What is wrong, Miss Dawson?" Rose eyebrows raised.
Summer looked at her.
"Before Lucien killed me, his son said he'll take care of Damien's girlfriend and-"
"Calm down Summer, I checked after you told me everything and she is fine and back at her apartment," Angel said. "although she is mourning your supposed death and Damiens"
Summer stared at him, but her thoughts had drifted as she thought about his words.
Josie was mourning her death and her son's death. How come? How did she come to know?
"You and Damien were reported to have died in a fire in your apartment," Angel explained. Summer's body shook.
"But that isn't true, Lucien-"
"We know that, but no one else does. Everything has been fabricated to make it seem as if you both died in the fire."
Angel explained, Summer shook her head.
"Josie was in the apartment, she knows that isn't the case, She would have spoken up about it." Summer just couldn't see how they could cover it up that perfectly.
Rose scoffed. "It's called magic, Miss Dawson." Summer looked at her confused, and the girl chuckled.
"It seems Alpha hasn't told you about the real identity of Lucien."
"I'll admit that I forgot, I'm quite forgetful you see," Angel said, sheepishly. Rose rolled her eyes at him. Leave it to the alpha to forget to talk about the most crucial information.
"Isn't that because you're an old man, Alpha?" Angel glared at her
"Aren't you so funny?" He said, dryly.
Josie smirked. "I aim to please."
"Can you guys just tell me who Lucien is?!" Summer huffed.
Angel and Rose shifted their attention back to her.
"Lucien is the head of the vampire coven in the country," Angel said and Summer tensed up.
So, she had no way to give Josie Justice from the start? She had been going after the head of some vampire coven…
"So Miss Dawson, Are you still ready to go after Lucien Hamilton after knowing who he is?" asked Rose, a dangerous glint in her eyes.

Tristan stood in front of the house that had been burnt down to the ground.
How could this have happened?
He had just been speaking to Summer last week and now she and her son were dead, burnt to nothing but ashes.
"Tristan, would you like to take apple juice or something? You haven't eaten anything."
Tatiana looked at him with worry in her eyes. Tristan looked at the woman and smiled, but it did not reach his eyes.
"My sister and nephew died here, Tati. They call it a fire breakout, an accident but Lucien Hamilton murdered her." Tristan spoke with conviction.
Tatiana sighed. She wasn't going to try and convice Tristan that it wasn't murder, it was so damn obvious.
*So what are you going to do about it?" She asked, Softly. Tristan clenched his fist.
"I'll make sure that this town turns into something else," He vowed and laughed bitterly. "I'll dig up everything this governor is hiding and make sure that he pays for my sister and nephew's death."
A teardrop rolled down his cheeks. "I'll avenge my sister and nephew."
Tatiana reached out for Tristan and pulled him in her arms. She hoped this could comfort him even if for a little bit.
"I'll help you with anything you need, love."
She didn't know Summer and her son, and Tristan had planned to use this trip to introduce Tatiana to his family but this had happened.
Tristan's pain was her pain, and she would make sure that she destroyed anything that threatened the well-being of Tristan.
There was something fishy about the burnt-down house and the neighbors and she would have to look into it.

Summer was very tired after spending the majority of the day shopping with Rose. It had been something she had rarely done before and she wasn't much of a fan.
They had gotten dresses and outfits that oozed seduction and class. They were clothes that Summer would have never been able to buy when she was in her old body, and after getting back to Angel's mansion, Rose had asked her to put on an outfit.
It was a gold-colored gown that was strewn with and encrusted with gemstones. Summer stepped out of her dressing room to meet Rose and Angel that were patiently waiting for her in her bedroom.
She walked up to their front. "Well, how do I look?"
Rose smiled brightly at her. "Exquisite, Miss Dawson. You're sure to make heads turn."
Summer looked straight ahead. "I just need Lucien's head to turn and then the game will begin."
Angel stood up from her bed and walked up to her, he looked down at her little figure. The thought of Lucien looking at her set a bad taste in his tongue, but he covered up his distaste with a grin.
"You can't bear your old name or he would suspect something, Miss Dawson. You have to change your name. What would you prefer to be called?"
Summer smirked. "Then from now on, my name is Bela."
