16: The Astounding Battle

Kei opens the gate and the group instantly splits into three groups. All the groups have their strengths and motives. The first group was led by Stephen, The second group was led by Kei and the third group was the healers' group. The first group surrounds Acidwrym and attracts its attention towards them, the third group is preparing and giving buffs to the first and the second group. Kei is leading the second group and he gives the signal to initiate the plan.

The first group which mainly consisted of hunters who were very agile and not that strong started to attack Acidwrym at a very fast pace. Even though the attacks on Acidwrym didn't do much damage as they were not strong enough the damage started to accumulate. As Acidwrym was very huge it couldn't dodge the speed hunters so after accumulating little damage it started to get agitated and started to secrete and spew its acid. After Kei saw this he told his group to move. In the second group, there were hunters who would give the main damage to the boss and end the battle.

Kei directed the group towards the back of the boss and he said "It is very important to time the attack so don't lose your focus and keep with us." The group nodded and they moved forward. As soon as Acidwrym stopped and started to prepare for its next attack, Kei shouted "Now!" and the whole group jumped towards Acidwrym. '10..9..8' Kei started to count down the time in which the Acidwrym would attack next.

When Kei started to ponder on how to defeat Acidwrym he noticed in the possibility of the future that Acidwrym took some time to prepare its acid attack after each spewing. He wanted to take that opportunity to attack Acidwrym and retreat before it attacked. Kei knew that the time it took to prepare and spew the attack had a very small time frame and he would have to be very fast to retreat before it attacked. But Kei believed in himself that he could do that by strengthening himself with Mana surging throughout his whole body.

This was the reason that everyone was calling him crazy and refusing to participate in it. But after Kei showed them his power they understood that it might be possible but they were still nervous.

Kei and his group all execute their attack together at the precise moment and precisely at Acidwrym's head which caused it to move a couple of steps back. This gave them enough time to retreat back to their positions. Then group one again started to attract its attention and they repeated the strategy until they couldn't get any buffs from the healers.

Then all the groups regrouped and Kei was in a dilemma because he didn't expect Acidwrym to be so sturdy and tough and it wasn't as much damaged as he wanted it to be. Kei then contemplated 'If I used my army it would have been much easier.' Kei then shakes his head and thinks 'This isn't the time to think about it. Even though I can't use Morphy I can still use my moves to defeat it.'

Kei sees a guy in his group holding a spear and quickly decides something and he asks "Do you use any other weapons? If you can then do you have any spare weapons?" The guy was shocked at first that Kei was talking to him but then he regained his composure and said "I have a spare dagger but I can't use it as proficiently as my spear." Kei nods and he asks the guy to take out his dagger and then he says to the group "I am going to deal a massive blow to Acidwrym as it still has a lot of health left. When I do that you would take that chance to finish it off." Then he took that man's spear and said to him "I'll be borrowing it for a while." the man was going to protest but Kei was already moving towards Acidwrym.

'Please, please I want a move that can deal massive amounts of damage to it.' Kei hopes and then he goes into a daze mode. Kei jumps very high into the air and he draws the experience of the blond man holding a spear and using it to kill a huge monster. Kei started to spin as he descended and Mana started to envelop his whole body and the spear. "Pincer Strike!" and throws the spear towards Acidwrym and he also had his right hand outstretched which had a Mana blade in it. Both Kei and the spear pierced through Acidwrym's chest and he landed on the ground safely with the spear. Acidwrym falls to its knees and Acid starts to envelop it.

Steph understood what was going to happen and he quickly shouted "TAKE COVER!" and as soon as he said that Acid exploded out of Acidwrym. "Aaaaaah" many people screamed as they couldn't find a cover in such a short time and got hit by the toxic acid.

Kei who was just standing was defended by Morphy who built a wall of itself around Kei. After Kei got out of his daze mode he saw some remains of Morphy which was on the ground. Kei could not reabsorb it because it already melted away leaving no trace of it ever being there.

Kei then saw the damage which had happened. Some people were crying and there were two reasons for it either they were hit by the acid and were crying out of pain or they were crying because they lost their loved ones. Kei felt a little pity for them but he turned away to get the spoils of his war. 'I can't have this type of heart. I am pretty sure that I will meet a lot of people in the future who would help me and then I might lose them so I have to prepare myself for that but I would train myself to never let that happen.'
