Who am I?

High in the skies of Earth, the most fearful and awe-inspiring sight was seen. What could only be described as a planet several thousand times the size of the planet grew closer and closer to Earth. Yet, it remained unseen not one person took notice of an object the size of or bigger than the sun falling into the atmosphere. Once it breached the atmosphere the object suddenly contracted and continued to do so before finally impacting the surface, causing New York to experience its strongest earthquake.

The streets of New York were filled with ash and dust as several dozen buildings collapsed. Hunched over in a crater a person on their hands and knees grasped and grouped around madly at the ground.

"Dammit, fu***ng f*ck. I should have waited longer, too impulsive. Why the f- no this is fine as well I lose to win. They will think I am weak now that is good they will move openly, leave traces. It will be easier to round them up..." the person at the center of the crater grumbled continuously, oblivious to their surroundings.

Just outside the crater, a woman stood, miraculously alive in an area where no life could be sustained. She tilted her head from side to side gawking at the figure in the crater. The person still mumbling under their breath had yet to notice her approach. Her approach halted her thoughts laid bare on her face. This person stood at the center of a huge crater that had caused an earthquake that likely rearranged an entire city. The thing in that crater might have been no person at all but a brand new monster, that had never been seen before. At least this is what could be gleaned from the myriad of expressions that cycled on her face.

"Excuse me, Miss, um are you, okay I mean you are okay I guess but your standing in the middle of that crater, and there was just that huge earthquake, the people in this city might think you caused it you know, but then again you could've fallen in and maybe that's why you were mumbling to yourself, cursing your luck maybe..."

The person in the crater turned around and incredulously stared at the woman that approached. To their knowledge humans had to breathe yet she had been talking nonstop. But even more amazing was the fact that there was a living person in the vicinity of his landing point seemingly unaffected by the intense heat, the phenomenal earthquake, or the suffocatingly thick ash and dust. Though the most important thing was her way of addressing him. That word 'Miss' struck several cords within. For the first time in a long time, he felt fear, fear that he may have made a mistake or that someone had decided to pull a last-minute trick on him.

"No," he waved his hand paying no mind to the woman anymore, the heat in the area gathered and focused on a single area of the ground and glassed it, "I swear on my name if they dared..."

Staring at the image in the mirror he was slightly relieved. In the mirror, a person whose gender was undetectable from their face alone. They possessed long silver-white hair, a strongly defined jaw, and sharp eyes. This coupled with his slightly tanned yet still somewhat pale skin, average height, lean build, and most alluring feature is a pair of silver eyes with a hint of blue.

"I was worried for nothing as if they would dare to move against me in that manner," the former rock now a mirror fell to the ground.

"Um, Miss are you okay, if you aren't I could go find some help, but that might be hard like I said before the people in this city don't trust newcomers much and even if we could find anyone they probably got caught in that earthquake, oh right that earthquake how come you aren't hurt you never answered, did you fall in maybe, oh did you maybe hit your head and now you can't remember anything, maybe your some important person with a mission and we can go on-"

[Silence]

"mphm mpmhm mmhm... hmmm mhmm hmmm mhhmmhmhm"

"You talk far too much, and to do so without tiring is well tiring in its own right for your unfortunate victim. Now listen, my name is Cassius, I have arrived here in search of someone, two people. The first should not have been far from my landing point leaving me to believe that is you, your strangeness would confirm that."

Looking at the woman she looked almost exactly like Ara when he looked closely, only she lacked the majestic aura that the more dignified queen displayed. Instead, she came across as childishly curious. This wasn't exactly unwarranted as although she appeared as a fully grown woman she has never lived that time she was never been born. The unfortunate twin of the pair was the first one Cassius aimed to meet.

"Before I allow you to speak again listen carefully. I technically have no connection to you or your sister any longer. Events preceding my birth have removed me far from anyone in the family. I share no commonalities in regards to blood, DNA, or anything else you might ask to prove such things. Originally I was requested at the behest of your ancestor to watch over you and your sister to ensure you grow and eventually can free her. However, I have my plans which I will not be sharing. I will first reunite you with your sister, then I will aid you both in your growth. But make no mistake this will not be a family outing as they say here, I fully intend to use your and your sisters' natural gifts to accomplish my goal. You will be responsible for yourself. Any questions and keep them short and to the point."

"Wait, wait, wait, I have a sister? No more importantly are you like my grandpa or something? Wait if your my grandpa then you know my mom right? I mean I have a mom, right? Where was I born? Why'd she leave me here? Why didn't my sister look for me? Why-"

Cassius was once an almighty being that could tear apart universes with a thought, though he no longer had all of his former might, he could only wonder if even at the height of his powers could he possibly withstand this woman's questions.

"You have three questions, ask what is most important to you right now and if you go beyond three I will silence you again," he extended three fingers.

"What are you some kinda genie now,-"

"No. Two questions remaining," retracted one finger.

"Wah, why'd you do that, it wasn't a question it was just a joke, a joke can't you take a joke,-"

"A question is still a question. One question remaining."

"Okay, okay, I get it, I get, Okay a question, hmm, I don't know I have a lot to ask, I mean you told me I have a sister and a mom and a whole family, yeah you never even said if you were my grandpa or not, I have sooo much to ask," in a rather animated and childish manner she ground her knuckles against her head and evidently gave much thought to her final question, "Oh I know, if you are my family and know my mom and sister then you should know me too right, sooo who am I?"

"Your name is Wynter Mallory, you were to be the daughter of Damian Mallory and Anastacia "Anna" Kant. However, you were never born and your father disappeared in an accident he caused a year ago in this city. That is the final question. Moving on we need to find your sister luckily she should be arriving in this city soon enough.
