Chapter 5, Portals?

Before they could think it changed again as Alastor broke through to Domain Lord. Not only that his Weapon Mastery immediately stepped into Halberd Saint.

[5.Leela Smith/Sword Master]

[4.Daemon Void/Great Bow Master]

[3.Jackson Leith/Axe Ancestor]

[2.Lin Feng/Great Sword Ancestor]

[1.Alastor Windsor/ Halberd Saint]

Although Alastor was in secluded cultivation, Jackson and Daemon were constantly improving the Sect and expanding. As well they have an alliance with the Azure Dynasty.

Slowly the Azure Dynasty and Boundless Paths Sect were fusing. Their territories intertwined as there was no conflict for resources. Materials were abundant and scrapped, weapons were forged for cultivators at the price of protection. As of now there was no money.

The Heavenly Sword Sect also branched into the USA. Although not spoken they all have formed and alliance. Soon enough every Continent had branchs of all three powerhouses. As well a fourth party called Interstellar branched in every Continent. This guild was the one formed by the genius who made new technology.

However on this day portals opened throughout every Continent. One of them even opened in the middle of Daemons pavilion.

Everyone was confused some thought that monsters would come through but nothing happened. After two days of waiting the Azure Dynasty sent a exploration group into the portal.

After three hours they came back somewhat injured but no deaths. On the other side of the portal was another world. They hadnt found natives but they did find some stray monsters with cultivation.

As well they found spirit stones, just these alone would make everyone excited but the materials on the other end would blast the world to another level. Blacksmiths would indefinitaly be born.

At this thought every Sect started to venture into the portals. The Azure Dynasty started to monopolize portals for themselve. As well some smaller sects formed a joint effort to take portals for themselves.

This being rouge cultivators were quite angry, soon another guild was made called the adventurers guild. Like in fantasy worlds this had the same concept.

After these portals arrived the world started to flourish as resources flooded from these worlds and boosted cultivation to another level.

...

In the Boundless Paths Sect people were going in and out of the portal that appeared right in the middle of their Sect.

On the other side most of the Sect was busy expanding.

From what they could tell there were no intelligent species. The strongest that has been encountered was only at the peak of golden core.

As they encountered no obstacles they spread their territory through countless miles almost surpassing what they had on Earth. However their was still a boundless amount of unexplored land.

Alastor stood by a lake in deep contemplation, the lake itself was a bright blue as it glowed a golden light.

'This is a spiritual lake, it has a high amount of qi. For my current cultivation it wont do much but it should work for Golden Core and Below. '

Thinking this he built a small mountain around the lake and set up a formation.

During this period of time he learned how to use formations and has leaped from Domain Lord 1 to the Peak of Domain Lord.

After Domain Lord was Sage Realm, in this Realm every aspect of your body transforms and you form a Sage body. You can lose a limb and regrow it, as well a single flick can blow up Mount Everest.

Not only has he reached the peak of Domain Lord Realm. He also has reached Great Saint Mastery.

A month has passed since cultivation started, now with the appearance of the new worlds. Earth has entered a prosperous state, though pregnancy was rare as most people were focused on cultivation.

Not to mention that their lifespans have become extremely long.

The portals seem to lead to different worlds and never the same. Currently there are 73 portals in total.

The Boundless Paths Sect has 27 under their control.

While the Azure empire has 24 and the Heavenly Sword Sect has 16 and the rest are under the Adventure Guild or under the joint effort of multiple sects.

The Boundless Paths Sect currently had a massive amount of resources and it was growing steadily.

...

Alastor thought silently as he stared at the pitch black room. He wanted to breakthrough and become a Sage but he waited in thought.

'I can become a Sage at any time, once you become a Sage you will have to temper your body under tribulation and form a Sage Body.'

'But I feel I'm not yet at my limit. I can go further without tribulation.'

Thinking to himself he decided to explore this vast world. He stood up and flew out of his pavilion, looking at his forming Sect he smiled before forming a letter made of qi and leaving it in his pavilion.

Then he disappeared silently from his sect undiscovered.

...

He flew extremely fast causing the surrounding space to distort under him. Although he was far from the speed of light he still was extremely fast.

He traveled the vast land looking for the sea or a treasure.

He frowned after flying for several hours,'I should've lapped the Earth a thousand times by now.'

He shook his head and flew away as fast as he could in a single direction.

....

Several days passed in a flash as he flew aimlessly finally arriving before a vast ocean.

"Hm I wonder what is beyond this ocean." he quickly tossed that idea aside as he spent several days just to arrive at the ocean. He had no idea how vast it was.

Thinking to himself he touch the sea in thought. Suddenly it glowed bright before his eyes grew dull.

The sea churned around him before it surrounded him as a shield. Mysterious black stones filled his surroundings.

He picked one up before raising his hand and a silver metal came out of the sea. Along with it several other strange metals and wood.

A white flame erupted from him melting the metals before forming a rough weapon outline. Then he used his water qi to cool the metal down.

Slowly a halberd formed as the black stone glowed and went into the halberds shaft.

A halberd flew from his body and started to connect with the other halberd.

His Nascent soul Halberd and the Newly made Halberd were fusing. They seemed to resonate with eachother and fused almost instantly. The sea blew away once they fused together.

He grabbed it in a trance and swung it down in a simple motion causing the Void to break apart. A slash formed along the sea with extreme might.

He didn't wake up from his trance after that, instead he started to cultivate using the black stones to help him.

A Domain formed around him flashing nine different colors. It was illusory at first before growing solid. Nine different beings formed under their elements.

A Phoenix, a Dragon, a demon, a angel, the Grim Reaper, a Sage like man, a black and white mist, and a clouded figure covered in green.

They formed the Domain releasing terrifying aura. They turned from illusory to real, every movement shifted their surroundings as they flew in a specific mannor seeming to surround the clouded figure who stood still but released an aura that surpassed every other.

Slowly a cloud formed above as a terrifying aura erupted from it.

Lightning crackeld before shooting down in a domineering mannor. It shined gold as it struck down, the nine beings stood as the lightning struck Alastor.

It blew up his clothes that he made from qi.

Although he could fight against it and avoid injury. He wanted to use the lightning to temper his body.

A few hours passed as the lightning struck him. He was now on the last tribulation, his left arm was blown to oblivion while his right leg was barely hanging on. His right eye was gone as blood gushed from his body. Ignoring these terrifying wounds he looked at the clouds in anticipation.

The last lightning flew from the clouds striking him in a loud explosion.

As the dust setteled he stood with extreme difficulty. His body covered in wounds as he was on the verge of death.

He sat down and started to heal his injuries. He silently cultivated to use his hard earned rewards.
