"It looks like Ciella and Arlene have commenced their lesson. It's your turn Concordia" Victoria said.

"I'm listening" Concordia said.

"When battles and wars are fought, before the actual hostilities commence, both sides mount a Defensive Formation to prevent their adversaries from breaking through their ranks. The purpose of this Defensive Formation is to break the adversary's offensive charge. When the Defensive Formation is adequately made, the adversary's charge can be broken and a Defensive Line is established protecting everything and everyone behind the Formation. This Defensive Line buys time for Support Types to evolve the Offensive Formation of the entire army. When the Defensive Line is effective, the adversary's Offensive Charge can be broken and their Formation can altogether be shattered. Usually, the adversary retreats when an auxiliary unit attacks from a different direction" Victoria explained.

"That's true" Concordia could see where her Mom was coming from.

"Most Defensive Formations are established by mounting Fortifications on the ground between your Line and the adversary's Line. However, regardless of how formidable such a fortification is…it's useless if the adversary attacks from the Air" Victoria said seriously.

"The Nightmare King was said to have claimed an advantage during the Battle Of Black Water Bridge with an Aerial Attack" Concordia recalled the details of that battle as taught to her by the Dream Knights.

"That battle was a bit of an unpleasant shock to the Dream Knights because the Nightmare King usually fought defensively when his territory was breached. It was the one time he resorted to an Offensive Charge and even then…he fought as though he were attempting to match the potential of the Dream Knights" Victoria admitted.

"Hey, that's a scary thought!" Concordia exclaimed in horror.

"You've realized from what I've just said that there are times in battle when an adversary's army is composed of Flying Units. Most Flying Units are integrated into an Army as part of an Infiltration Force. In fact, their very purpose is to break past the adversary's line and destroy their Formation through Confusion and Diversionary Tactics" Victoria explained.

"Sounds like a Byakko-like attack or a Trojan Horse" Concordia realized.

"Exactly and that's where Aerial Types come in. Aerial Support Types are responsible for locating an adversary's Infiltration Points and shutting them down. They are also responsible for severing any means through which an adversary may attempt to capture territory via Debilitating Zone Control techniques through the application of Enhancing Zone Control Techniques. That's why in times of crisis, you usually have Aerial Support Types working behind the scenes to suppress panic and to control Traffic Routes in an attempt to create Enhancing Zones for allies" Victoria explained.

"Then what's the role of Aerial Combative Types?" Concordia asked.

Victoria smiled.

"Aerial Combative Types are predominantly composed of Archers who stand on the Fortification Walls as Sentries. Their purpose is to shoot down any Aerial Infiltration Units sent by an adversary. In Battles and Wars, they also serve as the First Line Of Defense as well as the Last. They work to break an Adversary's Initial Offensive Charge in an attempt to destroy the Adversary's Formation and thus establish a Defensive Line. They are also responsible for defending allies from Mid to Long Range attacks via the Adversary's Aerial and Archery Units. When launching an infiltration into an adversary's territory, they take down the adversary's Sentries. They also act as a Final Line Of Defense for the Main Camp" Victoria explained.

"So that's the reason I was assigned to the Dream Realm's Border Wall" Concordia realized.

"Yes, it was because of Kraken Andromeda's tremendous Range and also because of the unique role our House Of Dream Knights plays" Victoria said.

"The Pendragon House Of Dream Knights was founded to be the Force that breaks the adversary's offensive charge and destroys their Formation" Concordia said with determination.
