Chapter 19: Both Sides Engage in Battle II

Just as Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz were about to step on the scouter, the image of their confrontation with John Doe and the others suddenly disappeared from the giant spaceship hidden behind the sun.

At that moment, Qiu Yi spoke to Frieza, "Your Majesty Frieza, they have destroyed the scouter, and we can no longer see the battle between them."

Frieza, who was watching with great interest, became displeased when the image was interrupted. Hearing Qiu Yi's words, he angrily said, "It's interrupted? Can't you find a way to restore the image? Do I need to teach you how to do it?"

On Earth, Raditz had already engaged in a hand-to-hand fight with Piccolo, both gripping each other's hands tightly.

Piccolo was surprised to find that Raditz wasn't particularly skilled, but his strength was not to be underestimated. He knew that continuing this test of strength was not the outcome he desired.

Piccolo lifted his leg and struck Raditz's lower body, catching him off guard and causing him to lose his balance. Then, with a powerful swing, Piccolo lifted Raditz into the air, spun him around a few times, and threw him high into the sky.

Piccolo then shot a beam from his eyes, hitting Raditz in mid-air and causing a massive explosion.

Although they weren't entirely satisfied with Piccolo taking the last spot, seeing him gain the upper hand made everyone cheer involuntarily.

Raditz, hit by Piccolo's beam, screamed and fell heavily to the ground.

However, the Saiyans' physical qualities were indeed superior, and despite suffering minor injuries, Raditz managed to stand up again. He roared, "Damn you, green-skinned freak! I'll make you pay!"

Raditz quickly attacked Piccolo, and the two engaged in fierce combat. Despite Raditz's anger, he was no match for Piccolo's overwhelming power and soon found himself at a disadvantage, getting kicked away.

Vegeta realized that Raditz was no match for the Namekian, and continuing the fight would be pointless.

As Raditz was about to charge forward again, Vegeta stopped him and shouted, "Stop, Raditz! You're no match for him. Continuing will only make us look more foolish."

Raditz reluctantly stopped his attack, but inside, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief. After experiencing the blow of his previous defeat, Raditz had come to understand that his strength might not be enough to defeat these Earthlings.

After Raditz retreated, Vegeta took a few steps forward and said, "I think this one-on-one battle is meaningless. Why don't we have a three-on-three free-for-all instead, where both sides can showcase their full strength?"

John Doe and Goku exchanged glances, unsure why Vegeta was making such a suggestion, but they didn't seem to have anything to fear from their opponents.

John Doe nodded and said, "Sure, we have nothing to worry about. A three-on-three fight is fair."

Hearing John Doe's agreement, Vegeta smiled triumphantly, and the six of them stood face-to-face.

John Doe and his team assumed fighting stances, ready to strike, but Vegeta spoke again, "Would you mind waiting a little longer? Give us some time."

John Doe and Goku were even more confused, unsure what Vegeta was planning. They were certain that Vegeta had some scheme in mind, but they couldn't figure out what it was.

Time passed slowly, and John Doe grew impatient. "Hey, how long are we supposed to wait? If you're not willing to fight, then get off our planet!"

Vegeta estimated the time and thought it was about right. "Who said we won't fight? Here we come. We're ready."

Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz exchanged glances and laughed heartily, then looked up.

However, the scene they saw froze their smiles on their faces. The full moon they had been waiting for was nowhere to be found.

There was a huge hole on the moon above Earth, as if a powerful cannonball or energy wave had pierced it, leaving the moon damaged.

John Doe and the others followed Vegeta's gaze and saw the moon with a hole in it above them.

Realizing the truth about the Saiyans' transformation, John Doe and the others immediately understood Vegeta's intention.

Vegeta looked at the Earthlings in disbelief and said, "You actually destroyed the moon!"

At that moment, Master Roshi scratched his cheek and said, "Sorry, we had to destroy the moon to prevent future troubles. It wasn't intentional."

The anger on Vegeta's face gradually faded, and he smirked, "Do you think destroying the moon will stop us? I can create an artificial moon, but it will just waste a little energy."

Vegeta extended his right hand and began to gather energy, preparing to create an artificial moon.

John Doe, aware of Vegeta's plan, was about to attack, but Nappa blocked his way.

John Doe punched Nappa, who didn't have time to dodge and was hit, flying backward.

Nappa looked up at the artificial moon in the sky.

At the same time, Vegeta and Raditz also looked up, and three loud heartbeats echoed across the battlefield.
