Chapter 9

'What a pain.' Starrk grumbled as he sat on the floor, looking at the four little girls that was playing around the room.

He was tasked with babysitting again, and this time with four kids! One kid is already a nightmare, now he got four? It seems big G really hates devils like himself.

"Gotcha!" A red haired little girl exclaimed as she fired a toy gun that released a small purple light that hit a blonde haired little girl.

'Oh yeah, gunslinger became a popular profession because of me.' Starrk thought.

Many years ago, the use of gun was treated as something that only mundane humans uses and there has been no strong or popular gunslinger that appeared in the supernatural world.

However, at that time when Serafall was discussing the fallout of Harribel's action in challenging Poseidon, she unintentionally hurt the pride of the god-king Zeus.

It resulted in incurring his wrath as he unleashed his full power, resulting in a global scale storm that threatens to sink more than a few islands and some countries.

Starrk was the one who calmed the god-king by using his Resurrección, and defeated him(He doesn't need to do that, but he was really really mad at Zeus for wanting to kill Serafall that he couldn't help but use his Zanpakuto).

It was that incident that earned Starrk the nickname; "The Strongest Devil", taking the title directly from one of the Four Great Devil Kings, Sirzechs Lucifer.

The supernatural world knew that Sirzechs was strong, even managing to break the shackle of his race and evolve into what came to be known as "Super Devil", but he has no feat aside from defeating some weak descendants of the original Four Great Devil Kings.

Though Sirzechs was feared by the biblical faction, he still did not enter the eyes of strong pantheons such as Olympians or the Norse.

Starrk was different, he faced one of the strongest god and won.

And when the supernatural world found out that Starrk wasn't a swordsman but a gunslinger, it caused an uproar.

Starrk was the first known being to have been able to reach the level of a Chief God as a gunslinger.

Or rather, the very first creature to have use a gun when most of the supernatural world consider them as nothing more than trinkets used by weak, pitiful humans.

Some young devils were fascinated by it and learned how to use guns as well. Some of them even recruited human soldiers to their ranks.

There was even a rumor that the church was developing a gun that can fire 'holy lights' which are harmful to devils.

So yeah, Starrk popularized the use of guns in the supernatural world.

"No fair!" The blonde haired little girl pouted, "Guns are not allowed!"

"There's no rules about guns being forbidden." The red haired little girl gave a smug look.

Just as she said that, she found herself being handcuffed by water rope, "What the—?!"

"Hmph." A short black haired purple eyed little girl smirked at the red head, "And this is why magic is superior."

And it was at that moment that a wooden sword was pointed at her neck as a scarlet haired little smiled at her, "Swords are still better."

"I don't want to play this anymore! I always lose!" The blonde little girl whined as she sat down on the floor and pouted.

"Me too! I just took a bath, why do you have to be so mean Sona?" said the red haired little girl.

"Hmph." The black haired girl swatted the sword off her neck, "You two just can't take a loss. Such a kid."

"We're the same age!" Exclaimed the redhead and the blonde.

"Well, I guess I won this time." Said the scarlet haired little girl while giving a peace sign.

"You're all are jerks." Said the blonde haired girl.

"You're just mad because you lost the game Yang."

"Oh shut it Erza! You always won, how would you know how I feel!?" The blonde girl, Yang Xiao Long, glared at the scarlet haired girl, Erza Belserion.

"Guns are kings!" Declared the red haired girl, waving her toy gun. "Howitzer are emperors!"

"And you still got beaten by magic, Rias." Said the black haired girl.

"Shut it Sona, you got beaten by Erza." Retorted Rias Gremory to the black haired girl, Sona.

"I still beat you." Said Sona Sitri, giving a smug smile.

"Oh yeah? I already have a queen!" Rias proudly stated. "And you don't. So I win!"

"Selecting a peerage member is an important task, it is not a race. I am sure to find a queen better than yours." Said Sona.

"Good luck with that. My queen is part—" Rias paused, covering her mouth with eyes widened in shock, "It's supposed to be a secret."

"Alright you guys, don't fight. You're bothering Starrk-nii." Said Erza as she patted Rias and Sona at the back.

'Thank you! Finally, a responsible one!'

"Oh right," Rias turned towards Starrk, "uncle Starrk, "can you train me in the use of guns?"

Starrk suppressed an urge to groan as he asked, "Why?"

"I want to blow Riser's head off." Rias shrugs, "He's my fiancé by the way, but I don't like him. I want to break my engagement with him but he wouldn't budge no matter how I ask him. So I told him that i will challenge him to a rating game sooner or later and if I win he'll break off the engagement."

'Another arranged marriage?' Starrk was feeling a bit annoyed with that.

Though, he can understand where they're coming from. Devils have a terrifyingly low fertility rates, and with the amount of reincarnated devils increasingly day by day, some conspiracy theorist even said that it won't be long before pure devils completely disappeared and replaced by reincarnated devils.

Some even went as far as say that a civil war will erupt anytime.

Though, just because he can understand them doesn't mean he has to like them.

"No way, your mother would kill me if I taught you something dangerous without informing her." That, and he was way too lazy to do it.

"Aww, come on uncle Starrk~"

"No."

He sighed, wondering if it was really the right choice to abandon his eternal slumber for this.

"I see. So you want me to come with you?"

"Yep. Yep. I don't want to meet him alone, so I thought, who can I bring with me to talk to him? Then I remembered, wasn't I friends with the most beautiful Youkai in the world? And she's also super powerful and a leader of her own Youkai Faction! That's why I came here, Ya-chan."

Yasaka Shrine, a shrine located in Kyoto and is the dwelling place of one of the Four Daiyoukais that ruled the youkais in Japan.

It was owned by Yasaka, a Kyuubi no Kitsune, leader of the Western Youkai Faction.

Yasaka is a beautiful woman with a voluptuous figure and very long blonde hair tied to a loose ponytail with matching eyes. She wears a yellow kimono, a golden obi, and wore a black pelt, with gold skulls and lines printed on it.

The kimono features a white interior and it is open at her shoulders, giving view to her enormous breasts. Her hair was held back by a traditional hair ornament, with six golden bira kanzashi and several red kanzashi.

Sitting in front of Yasaka is one Serafall Leviathan, who was wearing a mismatched black and red kimono with her hair tied to a bun.

"Well, I guess I could come with you." Said Yasaka, giving Serafall a small smile.

"Yes!" Serafall pumped her fist, "When should we leave?"

Yasaka stood up, "right now. If I know the leader of the north as well as I think, he's probably preparing his military force right about now."

Serafall nodded, "Let's go then. We don't want to waste time."
