"I can't believe I shot that werewolf in the head!"
"Me too! Usually, the wolf always manages to dodge and escape, so we can only shoot at its legs or back."
"Looks like they were in a trance last night! They kept on howling and running around like mad dogs!"
"Hey! It looks like you said it wrong! It should be 'crazy wolf,' right?!"
The hunters drank liquor until drunk and laughed at the words they considered a joke. Meanwhile, Dicky just sat at the very end of the bench. He just held the glass of the drink without intending to drink it. He felt something was wrong with this party. His emotions peaked even more, when he saw a rifle in his lap.
"Don't you guys have a heart?!" asked Dicky in a high tone, then stood watching the hunters much older than him. "The adults who sacrificed the female hunters to serve as bait!"
"Hey, kid! What's wrong with you?" asked one of the grown men who were standing holding a water bottle.
"Are you drunk? Didn't you also sacrifice the life of the woman you were with?" asked another grown man sitting beside him.
"I didn't risk his life!" answered Dicky with emotion.
"Son, what are you saying? If you didn't sacrifice his life, where is he now?" asked the man in front of him.
"Did you kill him?" asked the man beside him, pointing at Dicky's face. The atmosphere became quiet and felt hotter. The smell of alcohol filled the stuffy room. Dicky clenched his fists under the table.
"I didn't kill him!" said Dicky. His breath started to catch on because of the suppressed emotion. Just raising your voice is rude enough, especially if he has to hit one of the grown men who are considered to have no feelings.
"Forget it! I don't care if she dies. Women are always useless. They deserve bait!" said the man who drank liquor straight from the bottle.
Dicky was shocked by the words spoken by the man sitting in front of him. No words could come out of his mouth. He admitted himself that he had used Velisa as bait. After thinking for a moment, he slowly stood up with his rifle on his back.
"Now, I understand the difference between you and me. I still have a heart and can regret it while you don't. Thank you for inviting me to your event. Next time, you better not drag a small child like me to an adult party," said Dicky politely possible. After that, he bowed respectfully and departed from the feast that was disgusting to him.
Dicky walked to his house. Instantly, his mind drifted deep into tonight's events. Only this time did he feel like he had lost someone while hunting. Before, he had always hunted for himself and didn't care about other hunters that the werewolves might kill.
Dicky doesn't remember very clearly Velisa's disappearance. As he recalled, he suddenly fainted while carrying out a plan with that woman. When he woke up, he only saw blood splattered on the ground where Velisa was standing. Until now, he did not know whether the woman was still alive.
Dicky entered the house and went straight to the room. His gaze immediately fell on the bed Velisa had occupied. Here, he lowered Velisa's abilities and asked the woman to be the bait. "I'm sorry I asked you to work with me. I wouldn't have done it if I knew that losing you would be this painful," he muttered as he stood beside the bed.

Rune was standing in front of Adelle's room with her head lowered and a worried face. When the sound of the door opened, he immediately turned his head and looked at Adelle with a questioning expression. Adele closed the door and locked it.
"She is such a special human, Rune," said Adelle admiringly.
"Her name is Velisa," said Rune, telling Adelle about something she had not been revealed.
"Oh, yes. Velisa. Now, her condition has almost recovered. The magic power from the crystal ball miraculously makes the gunshot wound heal slowly. Miraculously again, the blood in her body has returned to normal as if it had never run out of blood, ' said Adele, chuckling in admiration.
Rune breathed a sigh of relief. "Then how are the werewolves out there?"
"Of course, some are helpless and die in the middle of the forest. Now, the situation has returned to normal, and no one is crazy anymore,"
"Adelle, I left the woman in your room for a while. Please, don't tell anyone, including Fremont."
"Rune!" Call Fremont not far from where Rune and Adelle stood. He approached the two men, half running. "I've been looking for you everywhere. You're here. Are you fine, Rune? Do you know? I almost died!"
Rune immediately became tense when he saw Fremont's presence. He responded to Fremont's words nervously. "Luckily, you're still alive."
"Yes, I'm fortunate. But, what was happening? Adelle, couldn't you explain something?" asked Fremont curiously.
"I don't know, but I will immediately find out. Don't worry. I'll immediately tell you," answered Adelle, somewhat nervous to see Rune gestures through the eyes.
"Alright. I'll wait for news from you," Fremont said while embracing Rune's shoulder. "Can you take me to the room? My body feels crushed."
Rune just nodded and secretly sighed in relief. Fremont continued to lean on Rune's body to make their bodies shake. "By the way, I lost the woman. When the situation was chaotic, and I suddenly turned into a wolf-human unconsciously, the woman managed to escape."
Fremont immediately stopped while looking at Rune's face. "Really? You have succeeded in shooting him until it collapsed. The woman could not have what kind of superpower to be able to run away in a bad state."
Of course, Fremont sees bullets fired right into Velisa's stomach. The woman collapsed immediately after Rune carried out the first shot. The blood that came out was not small and stagnant enough in the ground.
