Tang Ning was walking home one night from working at her parents hotel. Her family owned the biggest hotel franchise in America. Ning worked as a waitress is the bar. She was the daughter of the hotel CEO, Tang Guang and his first wife. I say first wife because Tang Ning's mother was killed by Guangs mistress. Guang was almost 50 years old and had three children. One legitimate child and a daughter with his mistress as well as a son that wasnt his. Ning was the oldest daughter but because her mother was killed when she was 10 noone knew that she was the rightful heiress. Ma Chunrui , the mistress, and her daughter had moved into the Tang family home and completely took over Tangning's life. Tangning became the laughing stock of the Tang family. She was disregarded by every member except her brother. Tangning's family wasnt oberly rich but had lived off her mother. Her mother was an actress and a very well known one at that. She also owned many stores but when Ma Chunrui and Ma Yao moved in everything became Ma Yao's. She took Tangning's spot as the legitimate child and took everything that belonged to her.
