Synopsis

How did my life go from being a normal 10th grader to a zombie apocalypse survivor... That's quite a story to tell. But it all happened so fast, and I don't think I even had time to think about my actions. I still remember my first kill, it was inside of a Walmart, with Luki and Ace and Veto... I miss them, but one day we'll meet again, I'm sure of it. I just have to remain calm. Oh, you want my name? Heh, I haven't said it in awhile, at this point it isn't really my name. Just call me Feral... that's what I used to be called, back when I was still with them.

Chapter 1{1}

What I thought would be a totally normal week off composed of anime and fanfiction, turned out to be the weirdest year of my life. Because first of all, how the fuck did Ace and Luki even find out where I lived? Scratch that, why was Ace holding a metal baseball bat?

"I'm assuming you're Feral?" Luki asked, holding what seemed to be something pointy. Actually now that I'm having a closer look, is Luki using a plate as a- wait a goddamn minute, that's my plate! I then realized Luki was still waiting for an answer.

"Oh yes, I'm Feral." I answered. Luki gave a sigh of relief.

"Great, so then you're okay. Anyways," Luki briefly stopped speaking to hand me a machete. "We ought to get out of here while we can."

I looked at the machete in my hands.

"Luki, where the fuck did you get this?" I asked. Luki only pointed at Ace, who replied with 'Veto'. I sighed, before asking another question. "What exactly is going on?"

Luki gave me a curious look,

"Haven't you watched the news? There's a zombie apocalypse happening, and unfortunately it isn't a joke. I'm surprised you survived this long. This is a well known zombie hotspot."

I was shocked, both at the fact that a zombie apocalypse was happening, and at the fact I hadn't noticed. Ace gave a huff.

"Alright, we got food, water, medical supplies and Feral. What's next?" Ace asked, as if I wasn't questioning everything at the moment.

Luki thought a little about that before replying, "Uh, I think Trauma-chan needs more metal. Other than that, nothing else."

Once I finally regained control over my emotions, I quickly went to pack my stuff, Luki and Ace following.

"A unikitty suitcase? Nice." Ace approved, as I packed the necessities. Luki, being Luki, looked around my room.

"There's a lot more pink than I expected..." He thought aloud. I nodded,

"Yeah, I didn't really choose the colors. I prefer purple or pastel grey-blue"

I soon finished packing, and turned to face my friends.

"Alright lets go"

Ace swiftly stopped me,

"Wait, first we need codenames, just in case. Luki's is obviously Kiggi, mine is Terrorist, Trauma-chan's is Emma, and Veto's is Potato." They explained.

I snorted at the last one. And from the looks of it, I wasn't the only one holding back laughter.

"In that case, call me Little Kiggi"

Luki groaned, obviously thinking back to my discord name.

---

Fuck you whatever god decided to let me join Luki and Ace. We haven't even been out of my house for five goddamn minutes and we're already being attacked. Of course, saving my precious plate, I immediately gave the machete to Luki. Thankfully, for all their shenanigans, Luki and Ace quickly disposed of the zombies. Before turning to me to see if I was alright.

"You alright there Little Kiggi?" Luki asked. I nodded, clutching my precious plate to my chest. He sighed in relief, before leading me and Ace over to a golf cart with another person in it. "That's Potato, AKA Veto." Luki explained while Ace put the stuff in the back, strapping it on tight, before somehow lifting me up and on top of it.

"This... is very high" I said nervously. Luki looked at me,

"Little Kiggi, are you scared of heights?"

I nodded, before securing myself on. Luki and Ace quickly followed, but they decided to grip tightly on the bars.

"Why are you gUYYS-" I was cut off by us rapidly zooming off, nearly hitting a couple trees and a few zombies. Actually, I'm pretty sure we did hit a zombie at some point. Before I knew it, we were outside a deserted Walmart, that was clearly modified to keep anything not human out. Ace quickly helped me down and unloaded the golf cart. We quickly got everything inside then sealed off the exit. I sighed in relief, before turning to Veto.

"Who the fuck taught you to drive a golf cart?" I questioned. Veto shrugged,

"No one, I taught myself"

I sighed,

"That checks out I guess. Anyway, who else is here?" I asked. Luki, looking up from his task of putting away the medical supplies, was the one that answered me.

"Well, C.C is here, as is Ryuu. I haven't met everyone so its possible theres more."

I paused at one of the names.

"C.C's here? But they're from Australia?" I questioned. A teen, looking around my age, waved at me.

"Hey Feral! I took a boat here. It took ages, but hey, it worked" C.C explained. I nodded, that sort of made sense, or at least enough sense for me to not question it. Of course, before I could ask more questions, another man appeared.

"C.C, where are you?" He called. C.C sighed, before looking at me apologetically,

"Rom needs me, I got to go"

I stood there, shocked. Because like C.C, Rom was not from America. Ace looked at me sympathetically,

"You'll get used to it eventually." They tried to comfort. It worked, a little.

I was exhausted, the entire day I was running around trying to find a place where I could help, only to be turned away with a head pat. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love head pats, but sometimes I just wanna help out too. Hell, even Luki turned me away, and told me to just explore and have fun. As if I could do that in this situation. Before I had fully given up, I went to Trauma-chan, only to be handed a spear and turned away once more. So now I'm jobless with a spear. Fun. Of course, that didn't mean I was completely useless, I did start setting up my area. Decorated with all the stuffed animals I could find. I had decided to settle in the art aisle, because you never know when inspiration might set in. So now I was just chilling in my pile of fluffy things, drawing away.

"Little Kiggi! I found you! I never knew a Walmart could be this big." Luki complained, before flopping down on my pile.

"Yeah well, you never had to go Feral Hunting before." I joked, trying to make the best of the situation. Luki let out a small laugh of his own.

"That's true. Anyway, how are you? This must be a huge shock for you to comprehend." Luki asked, looking at me in pity. I gave him the most unamused stare I could muster.

"Other than the fact I'm bored and have been left with a pointy stick, I'm actually doing quite well." I admitted, after a couple minutes. Luki looked at me with slight surprise, before nodding.

"All that time preparing in the discord helped you" He joked, causing me to laugh.

"Yeah well, can never go wrong in the Trash Mafia" I grinned, making him erupt into laughs of his own.

"True that. Anyway, are you sure you're fine?" He asked once more, wanting to make sure. I nodded,

"I may have enough anxiety to fuel six fighter jets, but I'm completely fine. At least I won't have to go to school" I grinned. Luki sighed, before getting up.

"Alright, if you're sure. Anyways, if you need anything, Veto should be able to help you." Luki informed me, before leaving me be again.

Later that night, I woke with a start. Something was wrong. Extremely wrong. In fact, I felt that I needed to do something. I quietly grabbed my spear and headed out into the main aisle, avoiding Veto and Ryuu sleeping on the floor. I quietly checked each aisle, making sure not to wake anyone, before arriving at the front. To my horror, a zombie was inside. Without thinking, I rushed at them, slashing my spear across it's chest and into its heart, before pulling the spear out. Unfortunately, it wasn't like the movies, and the zombie was only slightly held back by my attacks.

"Shit shit shit" I muttered, dodging the zombies attempts at grabbing me. Once I caught my breath again, I plunged the zombie in the skull, finally killing it. I sighed in relief, glad that it was finally over.

"Feral, what the fuck." Luki said from behind me. I laughed nervously,

"Surprise?"

Luki sighed, before bringing out a match and burning the decaying corpse to ashes.

"Alright, I'm going to go get Emma and Ace, you stay here in case any more get in." Luki ordered. I nodded, before yawning. I picked up my spear, and sighed at the sight of the blood.

"How unfortunate, I just got this too."

While I was waiting, I cleaned off my spear, careful not to get cut. Of course, considering my luck, I spotted another zombie. I sighed, before grinning.

"Time to die again, you dead bitch" I laughed, before taking my spear and plunging it into it's skull, then just for good measure, plunging it through it's heart. I grimaced at the sight of blood pooling around its body, but it didn't get up. Luki soon arrived with Veto, and Ace surprisingly. Ace, bless their soul, asked no questions and immediately burned the corpse. Luki, just sighed, and Veto was impressed.

"Damn, brutal." Veto noted. I gave a nervous laugh,

"I guess its just all my pent up rage?"

Silence followed after that statement, before Luki patted my head.

"You have much rage." Luki nodded. I smiled,

"Yep, I do. Anyways, what'll we do now?" I asked. Ace looked around the entrance, before adjusting a board.

"Now we go back to bed. There was just a board loose." Ace explained. Luki, Veto and Ace all said good night to me, but I remained by the door.

Pride and Prejudice

Causing immediate excitement among Mrs. Bennet and her five daughters, Mr. Bingley, a wealthy young gentleman, has rented a nearby country estate, Netherfield. He arrives in town accompanied by his fashionable sister and his good friend, Mr. Darcy. While Bingley is well-received in the community, Darcy begins his acquaintance with smug condescension and proud distaste for all the “country” people. Bingley and Jane Bennet begin to grow close despite Mrs. Bennet’s embarrassing interference and the opposition of Bingley’s sister, who considers Jane socially inferior. Elizabeth is stung by Darcy’s haughty rejection of her at a local dance and decides to match his coldness with her own wit. Elizabeth begins a friendship with Mr. Wickham, a militia officer who has a history with Darcy. Wickham claims that Darcy seriously mistreated him. Elizabeth immediately seizes upon this information as another reason to hate Darcy. Ironically, but unbeknownst to her, Darcy finds himself gradually drawn to Elizabeth. Just as Bingley appears to be on the point of proposing marriage to Jane, he moves away from Netherfield, leaving Jane confused and upset. Elizabeth is convinced that Bingley’s sister has conspired with Darcy to separate Jane and Bingley. Mr. Collins, a distant relative of the Bennets, makes an unexpected visit. He is a recently ordained clergyman employed by the wealthy Lady Catherine de Bourgh. On his way to visit his patron, Collins makes a visit, intending to find a wife from among the Bennet sisters. At first, he pursues Jane; however, when Mrs. Bennet mentions she is involved with Mr. Bingley, he turns to Elizabeth. He soon proposes marriage to Elizabeth, who refuses him, much to her mother’s distress. Collins quickly recovers and proposes to Elizabeth’s close friend, Charlotte Lucas, who immediately accepts him. Their marriage takes place soon after. In the spring, Elizabeth joins Charlotte and Mr. Collins at his parish in Kent. The parish is adjacent to Rosings Park, the grand manor of Mr. Darcy’s aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, where Elizabeth is frequently invited. While calling on Lady Catherine, Mr. Darcy encounters Elizabeth. She discovers from Darcy’s cousin that it was he who separated Bingley and Jane, as she suspected. Soon after, Darcy admits his love of Elizabeth and proposes to her. Elizabeth refuses him. When he asks why she should refuse him, she confronts him with his sabotage of Bingley’s relationship with Jane and his history with Wickham. Darcy responds with a long letter justifying his actions. Thus, everything is set up to bring to conclusion the various love affairs—happily, or perhaps unhappily. Whatever the various resolutions, Darcy, Bingley, Jane, Elizabeth, as well as others, will need to overcome their pride and prejudices if they are to find love in the midst of these uncertain and complex relationships.
