Dimensional Overhaul

What was the gods' best creation? Was it man? Could it be the stars that we all gaze upon? Planets that hold life? Or probably the various dimensions that hold all? The answer is simple, the universe! The same universe that comprises all these wonderful creations. The food we eat, the people we look up to, and the mountains which stretch beyond the clouds are all part of one universe. And among the variety of races, one stood among them all. A race yielding the strongest type of magic, black magic. They were the Genois race. The fact that they were the strongest clouded their minds, why not unify the universe? They thought. During their rein, they forcibly made other races kneel before them and those who resisted were killed. Upon a mountain of bloodshed, a single man rose to the task of defeating the Genois race. Some called him a 'reaper', others 'a savior' while others squandered his name calling him a murderer. The single man possessed a special type of visual prowess known as Tsujigens. The five Tsujigens: Tsujigen of force, Tsujigen of space, Tsujigen of time, Tsujigen of power, and the Tsujigen illusion made him an unstoppable force. With this power, he wiped out the Genois race leaving none. Blessing other races with freedom. He was hailed as a god! Mysterious as a ghost! Yet still a lone man. Alas, not even his mortal body could handle his power causing him to erode. Before his death, he shared his Tsujigens for the next generation in hopes of his resurrection. In the present, a boy awoke in an unfamiliar world, with no memories of the past, and is left with a symbolic tattoo on his arm which possesses odd powers. In a universe where magic is the norm, Kevin travels to different worlds, unique in their way, to reclaim his lost memories.

Larry Tein

In an area far in the North of dimension xxv, a human figure ran through a forest in haste. Despite having a human torso and head, his legs were similar to that of a beast. They were hairy, long, muscular and had veins protruding, showing the great amount of strength he used in running. Due to his large beastly foot, it left tracks in the heavy snow along with blood dripping from his injuries. The man began to pant heavily in exhaustion as he craned his neck backward to look behind him.

"Wh..ere are they?" he questioned while looking behind him. His words were disrupted by his pants.

He of all people knew his pursuers wouldn't give up so easily. Looking forward once more, he was about to continue his sprint until a fist drove itself into his face from the side. The punch was quite heavy but he regained balance by performing a back flip.

" Larry no offense but, do you not feel dumb?" A black-haired man asked as he combed his spiky hair gently. Along with him, came a man wearing white robes and a mask. His mask had no holes for sight indicating that the man must be blind.

" Raymond! How can you allow this? That boy that you serve has only evil in his hear-" Larry yelled but was rudely interrupted by the man with spiky hair.

"Did you just ignore me?" He asked in an annoyed tone.

" Indeed his methods are questionable but would you not be happy to finally rid yourself of the members of the shinigami group? You know what they have done!" He said raising his voice a bit when saying the last sentence.

Hearing the last part of the sentence, Larry stiffened up a bit. As if he was in thought, he looked towards the sky and back down, sharpening his resolve.

"I'm sorry but I do not agree! His method would make us worse than the ones we want to defeat!" Larry shouted before raising a mud wall between the man in white robes and the man with black hair.

" Larry!" the black-haired individual shouted before running to him.

With beast legs, Larry was much faster as he closed the distance between them instantly, surprising him.

" Marcus, you should learn to be more patient." Larry said up close as he watched Marcus conjure wind magic on his left hand.

Just as Marcus was about to stretch his hand going in for a grab, Larry transformed his left hand into that of a beast and with the superior speed smacked his head against the mud wall he created.

Due to the increased strength from beastification, Marcus collapsed to the ground, holding his head in pain. His head had a mild injury but that did not stop Larry from kneeing his head against the wall once more.

Now that one was down, he had to put his full concentration on the other. Larry's pupil began to glow in purple color with veins bulging around it. Scanning the wall he had created, his already transformed beast arm changed from a hairy gray color to a dark purple. There was not also a color change, but his arm itself became harder almost similar to a metal.

With haste, he drove his fist through the wall planning to hit Raymond. After realizing that he hit nothing, he quickly retracted his hand but was unlucky as three fingers were sliced off swiftly.

"Argh!" He screeched in pain.

" I taught you to use Mando, don't expect to beat mine this early. Lucky for you, your werewolf genes will easily regenerate a new set." Raymond said as he walked around the wall, now facing Larry with a slim sword in his hand. His sword had a rough blade with no proper handle. In place of the handle, there was a piece of cloth wrapped around it.

"Ha... still handle the little dojo for training Mando users?" Larry asked as he chuckled.

Larry sunk both of his hands into the ground as he activated his deviant element. As seen before in the creation of the mud wall, his element was Earth. The ground began to violently shake with snow falling off the leaves of trees.

"What are you doing?" Marcus questioned as he recovered from the earlier attack.

"Making a way out!"

An avalanche from a nearby mountain was slowly approaching. Devouring everything in its path. Using this as a distraction, Larry transformed fully into a werewolf before escaping.

"He is getting away!" Marcus panicked while Raymond was rather calm.

" It is alright, the nearest city is Doku village. With his strength, that is the furthest he can reach.."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Somewhere in dimension xxv, in a most likely deserted place with a few trees.

"Oh my Lord!" Kevin complained.

"How was I supposed to know that we ran out of crystals?" Lilith said, playing the victim card.

As Klein had used, the dimensional traveler was a great device allowing one to teleport from one place to another. The only downside was that it uses crystals obtained from beasts to function. And Lilith being the great mind she was, barely had any crystals to power the device. Therefore, causing them to teleport halfway to their destination.

During their walk, Kirby who sat on Kevin's head chirped a lot. It did not take a genius to that it was hungry from the sounds its stomach made.

"Can you give him something so he keeps quiet!" Lilith demanded as the constant chirping was getting annoying.

" Whose fault do you think that i-" Kevin was about to yell back but stopped midway as he realized something. He took Kirby from his head and held him in front of him as he stared at its features.

'Oh lord! How did I miss this?' Kevin inwardly panicked?

" What? Do not tell me you enjoy this..." Lilith said in shock as her lips slowly curved upwards to say her next word, " Pervert!".

"What? No!" Kevin shouted. Only someone like Lilith could arrive at such a conclusion.

" We have known each other for not that long. I mean we fought together and we are now..... friends I guess." Kevin asked while still starting at Kirby.

" Yeah and so what?" Lilith asked, failing to see why he brought it up.

" Well in all that time, have you ever asked yourself. Is Kirby a he or a she?" Kevin asked.

" That's a dumb question, of course, it's a h..." As Lilith was about to express the absurdity of the question, Kevin turned Kirby in her direction. Her eyes opened wide in shock, as she could not believe what she was seeing.

" Where is it! Did it drop?" Lilith asked in a panic.

Kevin on the other hand had accepted reality. He put Kirby on the ground and said in the most serious of expressions.

"What you see is not a mistake! Kirby has no wiener! It was never a he but a she!" He said calmly while Lilith wiped a tear from her cheek.

In all this time they were together, it was ridiculous that they were now finding out. Even so, they continued on their journey but fatigue began to set in. They would eventually need to take a break somewhere.

" Kevin! I see a village!" Lilith yelled from ahead as she spotted a nearby village.

" It's called Doku village. We can take a break there and probably restock on crystals!"

It was a good plan but they were flat broke and hence started the bounty hunt. As such, Kevin expressed his views whereas Lilith lightly punched his shoulder and said, " I can at least afford crystals, just trust me.".

'Trusting her is exactly our biggest problem.' Kevin inwardly thought as he followed along to the village.
