Chapter 23: Match (1)

The Man continues to say, "Okay, now beautiful girls and handsome boys. We welcome you to our college. But before that, we must choose ten people to be eligible to get into our elite class. So to do that we will hold a Digimon battle. Besides that, people who have adult or higher level Digimon can immediately go join the elite class. So, the one who owns it can come to the stage."

As the man said that, four people stand up and come onto the stage. But what makes me surprised one of them is someone I know. Yeah, it is Michael, "Looks like, that Elecmon is not his main Digimon."

"Well, looks like this year we already have four young heroes here. Now, only six seats are left for the elite class. So all of you will have a battle until six people are left.", said the man.

"There are only 98 people left. So there are mostly 5 duels for a person to attend. Remember, once you lose you automatically will be placed in the normal class. Whether you got a powerful opponent or not is dependent on your luck. Then, let's start the lottery to determine your opponent.", as the man said this the screen appear and show us a matching scheme.

"Okay, boys and girls, the name and picture that appear on the screen you can go to the arena to do the match.", said the man then the screen started to change and show the photo of two people.

Then the two people stand up and follow the man to the arena as the screen is changing to the situation in the arena where the two people have a duel.

The two-person on the screen stands opposite each other on the arena field. Then, they throw their digicube as two Digimon appear after that.

Looking at the iconic yellow and looks like a baby tyrannosaurus Digimon, I know this is a must-be Agumon.

The other one has green skin and an orange topknot on it that looks like an amphibian Digimon. It's called Betamon.

Then, they are starting to fight as Agumon's trainer commands Agumon to attack Betamon with baby flame.

The same with Betamon is a trainer. He is command Betamon to counter baby flame with a water shot.

Then, this battle continues until Agumon got attacked by an Electric shock from Betamon. That makes Agumon faint and unable to do a battle.

"Boys and girls to make these battles finish early. We will hold a battle 5 at the same time. As for the place don't worry our arena is big enough to hold a child-level Digimon at the same time.", said the man who appeared with the winner from the battle before, as for the loser he is waiting in another room.

Then, the Battle continues as the person in the room got decreased one by one. Until my name and picture appear on the screen. I know this is a time for me to go.
