The first day of the journey back to the dungeon was relatively peaceful for the scouts. Thanks to the map they had made earlier, they knew more or less the location of the maroon ponds and were able to avoid them in advance. This saved Ramiel a lot of time, nerves, and problems.
Monster activity was also incomparably lower, but unfortunately, the scouts had to kill all the wolves they encountered. The weather was hopeless, and the risk of detection was too great. The former hunter couldn't take the risk of a potential tail.
It wasn't that he didn't trust his skills in camouflage and covering his tracks. On the contrary, Ramiel was aware that his skills stood at a decent level. The problem lay elsewhere. Blood Core's sense of detecting blood was something he couldn't ignore or take lightly.
