Long Yanfei raised her hand gently, and the door to a thatched cottage opened by itself, after which she stepped lightly into the house.
Liu Ming followed closely behind.
"Junior Brother Liu, please wait here for a moment, I will go and inform my grandmother," Long Yanfei said to Liu Ming after ushering him to sit, then headed towards the back of the cottage.
Liu Ming nodded and scanned the room, finding it to be not very large, only about five or six zhang in length and width. Although the furnishings within were simple, there were complete sets of tables and chairs, clearly resembling a reception hall.
On one side of the room, hung an ancient painting that caught his attention.
The person in the painting was a dashing young man dressed in green Daoist robes, with a sheathless long sword on his back. A faint black aura lingered around him, and his eyebrows emitted a sharpness, vaguely exuding an oppressive feeling.
"Ahem."
