Chapter 74: Annoying woman.

Sensing his wife's presence, Rao looked towards Faora. 'She should have stayed on the mother ship.' He showed a small satisfied smile. Despite wanting her safety, he knows that Faora is not a fragile queen; his wife prefers to be on the battlefield.

Suddenly, a giant fist flies in Rao's direction.

Rao was bored, fighting enemies that come back to life is very annoying. No matter how many times he kills enemies, no matter how many times he beheads enemies, they always come back. And, even if he leaves enemies in ash, that annoying woman summons more enemies from the underworld. He looks at Hecate who was being protected by Thanatos and several titans.

'I need to kill that woman ... I need to be fast; faster than anyone. The speed of sound is not enough; I need to go further!'

Rao's body began to emanate divine energy. Slowly, that energy began to condense in his body.

Hecate realizes that Rao is looking at her, she also realizes that Rao's power started to slowly condense on his whole body. She started to worry about what attack Rao is going to do. She started giving mental commands to the living dead who she was in control of, then she looks at Thanatos and nods.

The death entity understands what Hecate is talking about and disappears in a black cloud.

'If I want to win this war, I have to kill this annoying woman.' Rao was frustrated. While he was getting tired killing enemies, Hecate had all the dead of the underworld at her disposal. If it continues as it is, the war will turn into a war of exhaustion; and Rao would avoid it at all costs.

Rao raised the blade of Olympus, and soon blue energy began to emit from the blade of Olympus; a full-scale attack was coming.

A big explosion happens; the explosion was so big that the battlefield was lit for some time. Several undead are evaporated from existence with Rao's attack. Seeing that she was able to defend the attack again, Hecate summons more undead to replace the amount that was lost.

When the light from the explosion disappeared, Hecate looked quickly for Rao, but she soon realized that he was gone. 'He ran-away?' She thought with ridicule, but soon that thought is eliminated. 'Wrong, he's not a coward; what is he planning?'

Hecate starts frantically looking for Rao. She looks across the battlefield in search of Rao, but she finds nothing; she also doesn't feel Rao's divinity. 'What is happening!?'

"My Lady, behind you!" a lesser god warned Hecate.

But it was too late, Rao appears behind Hecate and beheads her.

The only thought of Hecate's at the moment was. 'Persephone, I'm sorry. I couldn't avenge you.'

Rao feels Hecate's divinity entering the blade of Olympus, so he burns Hecate's body. 'Annoying woman, I hope I never see you again.' He looks at Hyperion, the titan of light.

"Now, light is no longer an issue for me." He spoke in an old voice.

"Indeed." As the titan of light, he can clearly see Rao's movements; he distracted all enemies with a gigantic explosion and moved at the speed of light behind Hecate. And, using the blade of Olympus, he beheaded the goddess.

Hyperion knows that Rao is the god of the sun and of life, but he did not think that he would control the lesser deities related to the sun, fire and light. 'The sun illuminates the solar system; it is hot and with the light that the star emanates, there is' life' for the most fertile planets ... In a way, it is quite obvious that Rao can control the light; I just didn't think he was so proficient using this divinity. After all, that is not his main divinity. '

Rao looks at the battlefield and soon he realizes that all the living dead have started to disappear; he closes his eyes for a moment and feels his divine energy. 'I'm low on energy, I need to get this over with quickly.'

He looks at the three Hecatonchires; although they are injured and with some arms and heads missing, they were quite healthy. It was quite obvious that they did not suffer much damage. 'These beings are freaks, I launched several destructive attacks on them, but they did not die permanently. I am beginning to understand why Zeus had them as assets; they are perfect weapons of war.'

Rao looks at the remaining titans. Only four live titans were remaining and they were all very powerful. He started thinking about the most efficient way to kill the titans; he cannot afford to spend more divine energy. In the beginning, he thought that this energy was infinite; and, he was right.

Faith is an infinite energy. As long as he has followers and subordinates, that energy never runs out; the problem is that this energy is very difficult to gather. Rao thinks that he managed to use all his powers because he already had energy stored in his body since he arrived in this solar system.

From the moment he came into contact with the yellow sun, the energy of 'faith' was slowly growing within him.

"Titans, Hecatonchires and Thanatos." Rao looked at all the enemies, he also looked at Thanatos who was approaching Faora.

Rao disappears in a golden light and appears in front of Thanatos. "Let's get this over with." He attacks Thanatos with the blade of Olympus.

Thanatos is surprised by Rao's speed; he quickly summons a scythe of bones and defends himself from Rao's attack.

A small explosion occurs when the two weapons collide.

Thanatos smiles with his skeletal face. "The scythe you have is just my sickle-shaped death authority, this is the real scythe and it is on the same level as the blade of Olympus."

Rao smiled a little. "If it's so powerful, why haven't you used it before?"

Thanatos is silent and begins to attack Rao with the scythe, Rao defends himself with the blade of Olympus.

"You can't, right?" Rao appears behind Thanatos and attacks him at the speed of light.

But something happens that surprises Rao, Thanatos' scythe starts to move on its own and protects Thanatos; the weapon itself reacted faster than its bearer. "

"... Yes, I cannot. As you can see, the scythe is a very proud weapon; it does not accept taking the lives of weak opponents. Because of that, I use my authority as an alternative." Thanatos spoke with a skeletal smile.

"You are a very problematic opponent." Rao said with a small smile. 'A scythe that moves by itself and it reacts faster than the speed of light? I can also feel that if the scythe makes a small cut on my body, I will die ... This is problematic. '

"You too." Thanatos spoke a little annoyed, 'a god who constantly grows stronger and awakens minor deities in the middle of the battle? And does this same god carry the blade of Olympus, a sword that dramatically increases divine power? This is problematic. '

The gods prepare for the confrontation again; they look at each other in silence ... Not wanting to wait too long, Thanatos makes the first move. He appears in front of Thanatos and attacks him with the blade of Olympus! Thanatos' scythe quickly reacts and protects his master!
