Chapter 66, 67: Faora's plan

When I woke up, I was able to understand several things that I didn't know.

It was as if someone had explained something to me, but I didn't know who that person was.

When I understood what 'divinity' was, I also understood what 'faith' was. I can't quite explain it, but if I were to set an example it would be; do you consciously think when you use your limbs? The answer would probably be no; you instinctively know how to use your arm, leg, etc.

This is what happened to me ... When I woke up, I instinctively knew what my divinity was and how to control it.

I represent 'life', I can control everything related to 'life'.

Using the energy of my subordinates 'faith' as fuel, I can do a miracle; I can use 'life' to do things like the one I'm witnessing right now.

With only my energy in its purest form, I created a small garden in the palace of Mount Olympus.

The energy of 'Faith' is what nourishes my divinity, without that energy I will not be able to use my divine powers. This is a rule that I instinctively knew.

But ... I think that is not all; one thing I learned is that in the universe everything is possible. Currently, I can only use my subordinates 'faith' as fuel, but I think there are other ways to refuel my divinity. I just don't know what that method is, but that method must surely exist.

"Indeed. Now that you have awakened that divinity, it is practically impossible to kill you in a normal way. " Gaia spoke with a motherly smile on her face as she looked at me.

I don't like that look; this is the same way that Hera and Aphrodite looked at me. They were looking at me, but they were seeing someone else in my place, and I don't like that.

I don't know if I'm the reincarnation of the old Rao or something, but I don't care about that bullshit, I'm me.

I took on the name of Rao to unify my people who were lost at the time; I didn't take that name to become someone else.

Gaia, the personification of the planet Earth, is a primordial entity. Or, should I say that she is the oldest god in this pantheon? After all, there is not only one pantheon in this universe.

I do not trust this woman; her actions on Olympus were all with many 'coincidences'. She is a woman who uses the fact that she can 'prophesy' the future to manipulate the gods.

She did the same with Zeus. The texts of the human books are quite incongruous, but the essence is the same. The goddess Gaia warned about a prophecy to the goddess Themis who at the time was a counselor and possible future wife of Zeus. The prophecy was that Zeus's son with Metis was going to be stronger than Zeus, and that this son was going to steal Zeus's throne.

Gaia planted a seed of fear in Zeus. Because of this, he tricked his pregnant wife Metis into becoming a fly so that he could swallow his wife.

I have all the information from the mythology of Olympus engraved in my head; humans fantasized some things in the tales, but the essence remains intact.

I take my attention away from Gaia and look at Nyx.

Nyx, the personification of the night, but she is not only that; she is the personification of the universe. She has total control over life and death, she represents the 'night' that permeates the entire universe. One of the most powerful entities in the Greek mythology.

'Nyx built the night, covering the universe daily with its purple mantle already pierced with so much wear, while having an invisible hood that allowed her to watch the universe without being noticed.' This was a quote about Nyx that I read in Greek mythology books.

'The entity that represents the beauty of the night and the terror of the night.' Another quote from the book; I can't help but agree with the author of that book.

She is a beautiful goddess of the night who hides her true personality in her cold and stoic face, this is my impression of Nyx.

I open my hands and a sphere of deep darkness appears in my hand. This is the divinity of Erebos, Nyx's twin brother. I tried to absorb this divinity, but the divinity itself rejects me.

I see Nyx's stoic expression tremble a little; she still seems to have feelings about this situation. I close my hands and Erebus' divinity disappears.

The divinity of darkness rejected me but in return, I was able to absorb the divinity of Helios easily.

My theory is that as my divinity is not related to darkness, the divinity itself rejects me. Because of that, I cannot absorb this divinity.

I can only absorb divinities that are related to mine.

'Rao was the god of heat, fire and life.'

Tsk ... All the facts and reactions of the gods that are older than the earth itself indicates that I am related to the ancient Rao in some way. Although I don't like it, I will have to research more on this subject.

I close my eyes and focus on my hand, soon a mini sun is formed in my hand.

Isn't that absurd? I had so much work to stabilize the artificial sun on my ship, but the gods can do it easily just by using their divinity.

The very concept of 'divinity' is not scientific, but this is happening now in front of me; I must face reality ... Gods are broken beings.

They can do things that took a long time with technology with simple hand gestures.

Currently, I have two main divinities, the sun and life. I also have lesser divinities which is the fire and heat that is derived from the sun.

I play a little with the sun in my hand, I look at Hades and notice him making a gesture for me. It was a gesture that said, won't you say anything My King?

I just smile at him and keep playing with the sun in my hand. I won't say anything, the silence can often be worse than a threatening speech. After all, they don't know what I'm thinking, and I'm playing with a sun who could kill some weaker gods easily.

I'm just waiting; I'm waiting for the traitors to move. I don't want to kill the lesser gods that are present here, I want the big fish.

What happened is, my wife is an incredible woman; she planned everything down to the smallest details. I don't need to do anything for now, I just need to wait patiently while I torture the gods with my silence.

After a few hours of torturing the gods with my silence, suddenly the door to the palace of Olympus is opened.

I look towards the door and see Hermes panting. I realize that all the gods also looked at Hermes, it seems that they were not taking my silence well.

I wear a big smile: "Is everything ready?"

"Yes ... My King."

* Step !! Step !! Step !! *

Footsteps can be heard from miles away.

I notice Nyx and Gaia opening their eyes in disbelief, "It's not possible." Nyx spoke in disbelief.

Gaia nods in agreement with Nyx, but she had a smile on her face. After all, she wanted to remove her children who were trapped in Tartarus.

"Yes, it is possible." Hades spoke in a neutral tone. He was the only one who was unaffected by the atmosphere. "Thanatos, your foolish son opened the door to Tartarus ... Normally, the duty of the god of the underworld is to guard the titans who are trapped in Tartarus, but what if the god of the underworld ignores that duty?" He said.

"....." Nyx remained silent.

"In those days that I spent with the queen, I couldn't help admiring her; she is very perceptive and intelligent." Hades spoke in a neutral tone.

"Indeed." Metis agreed. She didn't have to teach Faora anything; she just gave little tips and the queen understood what Metis was talking about.

"The queen has a terrifying talent for war." Athena said with a slightly broken smile. As a goddess of strategy, she didn't want to admit that she lost.

'Hahaha ~! I am so proud of Faora. I didn't have to do anything and she brought all the bad apples that I must eliminate to my door. I am so proud of my wife; she will be a splendid empress in the future. ' I think with a big smile on my face.

Soon I can hear a voice: "Rao!! You are not worthy of the throne of Olympus!! Show up and face me!! "

"That fool." Nyx grunted in an annoyed voice.

I close my hands and soon the sun that I was holding disappears.

I get up from the throne and grab the blade of Olympus that was stuck in the ground; I put the sword on my back and soon start walking towards the palace balcony.

I realize that some goddesses and gods will follow me, but I don't care.

Arriving on the balcony, I see several gigantic beings. They looked like humans, but some of these beings had deformities.

On top of a titan who has four arms I see a being with a skeletal face, Thanatos the personification of death.

"Rhea, I'm going to kill your brothers and sisters now. Do you have any thoughts on this war?" I look at Rhea.

For a moment, I saw Gaia's maternal smile break; it seems that she didn't like my decision much.

Rhea bites her lips in frustration. "I have nothing to declare ..."

I smile. "I understand." I ignore Rhea.

I look at Hades: "Hmm, this is a memorable sight." He spoke in a nostalgic tone.

"Stopping to think, you fought in the war against the Titans, huh?"

"Yes. Unfortunately, I won't be able to fight this time; I got weaker. On the other hand, the Titans have not lost their strength. After all, they don't need faith to replenish their divinities."

Oh? This is something I would like to study, but unfortunately I don't think I will be able to capture a living titan.

Slowly, I start to float in the air:

"Hades, I still don't trust you completely, but you proved your loyalty by helping my wife of your own free will. Unlike the other gods, you didn't seek anything in return ... And you also put your life in my hands through an eternal vow. "

"...."

I look at Hades: "Don't betray my trust."

"Yes, My King."

I smile: "Good." I take the blade of Olympus from my back. I aim the blade of Olympus at all the titans and I see the titans taking a step back when they see the blade of Olympus. My smile widens when I see it; I have already discovered a weakness of them. Fear is something scary, it enters your soul and leaves a mark that is carried throughout your life.

"This is my first order, Hades." I speak with eyes glowing slightly in red.

"Kill all the traitors, leave the titans to me."

Hades shows a small smile, he kneels on the floor: "Your wish is an order, My King."
