Focus!

The trio eventually made it back to the city of Metropolis. Batman and Green Lantern could be seen dealing with a few stragglers. Two more figures had appeared as well.

A man whose body was half man half machine was fighting alongside them. It was Cyborg. Beside him was a man in a red suit. A white shawl was wrapped around his neck, acting as a hood and cape. Lightning danced around his body.

'Shazam.' Sora recognized him.

When they landed in front of the heroes, everyone looked at each other. The straggler soldiers were dead. Green Lantern nodded to Sora.

"What now?" He asked.

"...Mnn…."

The young Lockhart scratched the back of his head. Why was the guy asking him? Sora didn't know. He was just here for the ride! Batman frowned at Green Lantern. The dark hero didn't like how the man was treating Sora as the leader. Neither did the kryptonian.

"I have a plan." Cyborg announced while standing beside Superman.

Everyone focused on the man after hearing his claim. His mechanical shoulder opened up, revealing a boom tube. It landed in his hand. He then raised it up so everyone could see it.

"I've seen what they're planning to do. The aliens wish to terraform the planet. Theoretically, I should be able to close the portal and send creatures back if I hack this." He revealed.

"And where do we come in?" Wonder Woman asked.

An antenna popped out of Cyborg's arm. It beeped with a blue light as if it was searching for a signal. Eventually, it turned red.

"I can't find a good signal, which means I'll have to reach a higher altitude. The only problem is that I'll be a sitting duck for those soldiers." He continued.

Sora used his light sense to scan the surroundings. More enemies were appearing. The next wave was arriving.

"Sounds like a plan." Superman agreed.

"...I think we're all forgetting something…" The young Lockhart spoke up. Everyone turned to him. "If these are just the soldiers, where's the leader?"

His words brought frowns to their faces. Before anything else could be said, the ground started to shake. There was a disturbance in the ocean. Sora flew up high to get a better look. Superman, Shazam and Wonder Woman were right behind him.

Dark towers could be seen rising from the waters. They pointed toward the sky, a red light shooting up into the clouds. Thousands of aliens were coming out of the light pillars by the second. The sleepy man looked down to see the other heroes watching on a nearby rooftop.

"So uh…new plan?" Shazam asked in a funny way. Everyone nodded, too focused on the scene before them.

ZOOOOM

"Hey friends! Ready to save the world?!" A new voice called out.

A man in a red skin tight suit had appeared with extreme speed. He ran up the side of the building and stopped beside everyone. His body was vibrating. Everyone greeted him.

'Flash. Seems like the gang's all here.' Sora thought.

"Guys, I think the big bad guy is here!" Green Lantern announced.

At the largest tower, a large silhouette stepped out of the red light. It had its hands behind its back and was headed straight towards them. As the figure became clear, Sora couldn't help but smile under the mask. Energy surged through his body which caused his eyes to glow.

'It's him…He's here! I can finally let loose! This is turning out to be such a great day.' He thought.

The young Lockhart had a new goal. It was to make the approaching man use his full strength. Something he'd never done against Superman in the animated films. The figure was dressed in dark blue armor with golden highlights. He was the size of a house!

Superman and Wonder Woman raised an eyebrow at the sleepy man. If Sora didn't have a mask on, they'd be disgusted by his creepy smile. The energy he emitted was already frightening. Without further ado, he walked across the air, approaching the enemy.

"...New plan. Hack the Boom Tube and get rid of these towers. I'll take care of this guy." Sora ordered as he walked away.

"Since when did this guy become the leader?" Flash wondered out loud.

The group nodded in agreement. Still, some of them knew how strong he was. Batman included. Superman gazed at Sora's back with distrust.

"I'll be going with you." The kryptonian decided.

There was nothing to be said. The lazy man only glanced at Superman before continuing his steps. Cyborg immediately flew up into the clouds to start his hacking. Wonder Woman and Shazam followed to protect him. The rest remained on the rooftop, preparing for war.

It didn't take long for the parademon army to get close. They immediately paused right before reaching the heroes. The soldiers quickly opened a path, allowing the giant man to pass through. Only a few seconds passed before he arrived. As Sora and Superman looked up at him, he looked down at them.

"I am entropy. I am death. I…am Darkseid." He spoke as if it was another day. His voice was deep and monotone.

"If you think that you have won, you are mistaken." Superman declared.

His eyes were glowing red. Unfortunately for the kryptonian, Darkseid ignored him. The ruler's gaze was focused on Sora.

"You are different from these…ants." He commented softly. Superman grit his teeth at being ignored and felt insulted. The young Lockhart only returned the gaze. He raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"...So you noticed. I guess that makes you better than most. But is that enough?" Sora responded with the same tone.

"Enough? Are YOU enough? We'll find out in a moment."

"I'm waiting…Come here!" Sora mocked.

Darkseid didn't respond but his army charged toward Earth's defenders. Superman was the first to move. The kryptonian blasted toward the giant with a clenched fist, launching it toward his face.

BAM

A shockwave blew out, causing the waters below to bend weirdly. It was still futile. Darkseid's face had only tilted slightly. He then grabbed Superman's cape before kneeing him in the stomach.

"Uuugh-" Spit flew out of the kryptonian's mouth as the air left his lungs. His eyes were wide in shock. Still holding onto his cape, Darkseid slammed a godly fist into Superman's chest. Right on the 's'.

BOOOOOOOM

Superman's body was sent off into the city, at a speed that surpassed mach 12. He crashed through multiple buildings before making a huge crater in the ground. It was lights out for him.

Sora couldn't help but chuckle. This wasn't the movies. Since the young Lockhart was also here, Darkseid didn't hold back in the slightest. Omega energy was already leaking from his skin.

"Now we begin." He announced before blitzing Sora.

The air crackled as he broke the sound barrier. A massive punch hurtled down onto the sleepy man. The young Lockhart elegantly avoided the attack by jumping over his arm. Sora had neared Darkseid's head in an instant. His hand formed a claw, reaching for the giant's eyes.

As if anticipating the move, Darkseid tilted his head to the side. Sora's hand only grasped air. The large fighter tried to grab the young Lockhart's arm, but Sora was faster. He quickly spun his body and launched a kick on Darkseid's neck.

The attack was blocked with raised arms. Even though it was a successful defense, the force of the blow sent him flying back. His red eyes glowed before erupting with power. Orange lasers blasted toward Sora, zigzagging in different directions. When the beams reached the lazy man, he caught them in his palm and crushed it like glass.

"Don't insult me." Sora growled.
