Eyes closed, Edwin tried to use his gift, this was the first time he was using it, so it all felt weird to him, while anxiously others waited for him.

They had no idea what would happen once Edwin had used his talent, they did not even know whether Edwin would succeed in using his talent or not.

Unlike their talents that came with perks that could be used every day, Edwin's talent was so special that even if he wanted to use it, he did not dare, thinking what if anything went wrong?

Plus, he always remembered Adrian's warning and reminders about not using his gift, as in need of time, it would be their biggest trump card.

And today was that day, and he was happy that he listened to him and did not mess around with his gift, otherwise, he would've to use his lifespan as the price to use his gift again.
