CHAPTER FIVE - JEALOUS...?

Flame Pov

I overheard Crypto talking to someone over the phone. (I was jealous?) No, I won't say that. I mean I may have wanted him to talk to me all the time but, I didn't want to be a bother. So I just left, I told him I was going to take a nap.(I lied... Kind of) I didn't take a nap, Instead I decided to just lay there. I don't know why I was thinking so hard about this, Surely he was sleep by now. (I hope.)

-The Next Day-

Crypto and the others were eating breakfast, Crypto was happier than usual, Flame was happy to hear that. "How was your sleep last night?" Crypto asked everyone. Mirage says it's weird because Crypto is so paranoid and geeky. "I didn't get any sleep last night, I couldn't, I don't know why. " Flame assured everyone that she didn't even dare to get some shut eye. "Why, Chica? *eyeroll* Is it because I hung up on Che? I said I was sorry." Octane asked in a annoyed tone. "No, I just don't want to go to sleep... Ever" and she meant what she said, even though she was tired she didn't want to go to sleep.

Mirage Pov

It's kind of weird that Crypto- I mean Kid would even ask that. Anyways, that's not the point, The point is Flame. I obviously care about her, She's my best friend! I just don't understand why she would like someone like... Well... Him. He's lame and well he's a paranoid weirdo. (Besides I would treat her better than he would)

"You should get some sleep, You must be tired." Crypto tried to walk her upstairs. "No, Thank you. I don't want to sleep, I'd rather listen to your conversation- I mean eat some food." Flame didn't know the (exact) definition of Jealous, But She knew she was.

Crypto Pov

I was talking to Natalie. She called so I answered. Although I don't know if Flame cares, I think she's just... Jealous. (What if she likes me as much as I like her? Wait... What am I saying? She doesn't like me and I don't like her)

Even though Crypto can be in denial at times, We all know that He and Flame have a Fire burning with Love and Desire for each other!
