Kimberly didn't know who the Drigorys were. So when people on campus talk about Jimmy. She never understood what it meant.
"Kim," said Elena after Professor Grey's class done.
Kimberly, walking toward the campus yard, immediately turned around when Elena called her. "What is it?" Kimberly asked.
"You didn't say your condolences to Nathan?" asked Elena.
Kimberly increasingly did not understand what Elena meant. "What's wrong? Did she get into trouble?" Kimberly asked cluelessly. Because she knew Nathan was the cause of the disaster.
"Gosh, Kim. Watch your mouth. You could get in trouble if you say that," said Elena.
"So what?"
"You know the news about Jimmy Drigory?"
"Jimmy Drigory? Is he Nathan Drigory's family?"
"He's Moreno Drigory's first child. Nathan's father!" Elena looks so emotional when she mentions the Drigory family.
"Then... Should I know?" Kimberly asked with a confused expression.
"Jimmy Drigory was murdered a few days ago!" said Elena. She looked around as if afraid that someone would hear their conversation.
"Huh? Really? Nathan comes to campus every day. He doesn't look sad at all," said Kimberly.
Elena looked exasperated at Kimberly herself. "I already told you that Drigory is a mafia family. No mafia mourns the death of his family," said Elena.
"You think I'll believe that story about the mafia again? Come on, Elena. The mafia only exists in movies. Don't make it up," said Kimberly.
From the beginning, Elena had whispered to her about Drigory being a mafia; Kimberly couldn't believe it. She thought it was just a joke Elena made to make fun of her.
"How should I explain it to you. That's why I was surprised when you could get involved with Nathan. On this campus, no one dared to get involved with him. His father was terrible," said Elena.
Kimberly just shook her head. She didn't want to hear Elena's words, which he thought were bullshit. Kimberly chose to walk faster to get home as soon as possible.
"Hey, Kim. I never saw you hang out after college. You want to go to Central Park with me" asked Elena. The girl was still following in Kimberly.
"I have to go home soon," Kimberly replied nonchalantly. She had no interest in hanging out with anyone since she was in this city. Her energy seemed to run out quickly when she was out with people.
"Are you the unsociable type, Kim?" asked Elena suddenly.
"What do you mean? Aren't we hanging out now?" Kimberly asked.
"I feel like you're avoiding anyone. I think you have a problem here," said Elena, pointing to her own head.
Kimberly was offended by Elena's words and chose not to ignore Elena's words. Elena didn't know how her life was now so heavy since there was no father by her side. She felt every day felt very empty. Kimberly lost the light of her life. And Elena casually said that she had a disorder in her brain.
Elena didn't follow Kimberly anymore. She let Kimberly go home. Meanwhile, she joined his other college friends.
Kimberly is sad after Elena accuses her. She walked out of the campus area feeling heavy. She knew she couldn't continue to mourn her father's death. She knew Elena didn't know the mental pain she was going through. But Elena didn't need to think she had a mental disorder. Even if that was true, what right did Elena have to say that to Kimberly?
On the way, Kimberly returned to the room. She accidentally saw Nathan with Black in a long super luxury car. If you think about it, a black car like that is similar to the car used by the mafia characters in the movie. Kimberly's mind began to wander. Is it true that Nathan is the son of a mafia? If true, that means Kimberly has been misguided for being involved with a criminal.
While walking, Kimberly suddenly remembered her mother, who had spoken to Black some time ago. She wanted to know what her mother was talking about. Kimberly was too busy with college to forget the fire incident in the apple orchard behind her house.
Kimberly ran to get to her house as soon as possible. Just to know. In this city, there are still many people who walk everywhere. The distance between Kimberly's campus and her house is not too far or close. But it won't be too much of a hassle to walk because there are also many people walking.
As Kimberly was running, Nathan accidentally saw her. And Black realized that.
"Don't do anything that will make your father angry, Nathan. Never get involved with anyone without your father's approval," Black said.
Nathan ignored Black's words. He knew what Black meant.
"You think I'll be romantically involved with that stupid girl, Black? You're kidding. I'm Nathan Drigory. I have standards in choosing women," Nathan said.
Black just smiled, mocking Nathan's words. "Your father said that too when he met your mother," said Black.

Kimberly arrived in front of the house. She took a short pause after running for thirty minutes from the front of her campus.
"Mom!" called Kimberly loudly.
Coincidentally, Viona had just come out complete with neat clothes.
"Why are you shouting, Kim? You can annoy the neighbors!" Viona warned.
"Where are you going, Mom?" Kimberly asked.
"I'm going to apply for a job," said Viona.
Kimberly frowned. "What kind of job?' Kimberly asked.
"The bald man who came yesterday. He gave me some money in the suitcase…."
"Oh gosh!" Kimberly was amazed by her mother's words. "For what, Mom?" It seems Kimberly is starting to believe that Nathan is the son of a mafia.
"Compensation for the fire in the backyard. But I already refused and asked to change a job," said Viona.
Kimberly felt her mother's decision was not correct. Why would she ask a stranger for work?
"Where are you going now?" Kimberly asked.
"I'm going to Moreno Drigory's house. He said Mother would be employed there," replied viona so casually.
"What?" Kimberly was shocked when she heard her mother's words.
