Nathan stopped in his tracks. He turned and faced his father.
"Where have you been?" asked Mr. Drigory.
His father's aura was so cold. He didn't smile at all. I don't know when was the last time Nathan saw his father smile. But he was never angry either.
Sometimes Nathan had to think about whether his father was a human. How could he look fine after his eldest son was killed?
"I'm in college," Nathan replied.
"By spending millions of dollars?" said Mr. Drigory.
"I'm drunk," Nathan answered, trying to explain the fire in the apple orchard.
"I've warned you many times. Don't go there! You can't get too close to the people in this village!" said Mr. Drigory.
"Why? Are you afraid I'll end up like Jimmy?" Nathan shouted.
"Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy. Why do you always associate anything with him! Don't you know I'm so sick of your weak attitude!" said Mr. Drigory.
"Did you think of him as a son? He was killed, Dad! He was killed! What's wrong? Why should he be killed? Was falling in love a mistake that he had to die this tragically? Dad, you are a great Lord. Maybe the people of the world black know who you are. But don't force me to live in your world! Don't force me like you forced Jimmy!" shouted Nathan.
Mr. Drigory stood up and walked over to Nathan. Before that. He lifted something from the drawer of the luxurious cabinet beside him.
It was Mr. Drigory's gun. Nathan didn't move when he saw his father pull a gun and walk toward him.
"Take it!" said Mr. Drigory as he handed him the gun.
"What?"
"I said take it!" said Mr. Drigory firmly.
Nathan immediately took the gun from his father. His hands were shaking. It was the first time he held his father's sacred gun.
"Shoot me," said Mr. Drigory.
"Dad?" Nathan didn't understand why Mr. Drigory said that. "How could I...."
"If you want to live in a free world. That means you have to make sure I die, Jonathan Drigory," said Mr. Nathan.
"Dad... this is crazy!"
"Crazy? Do you think I'm crazy? Are you aware, Nathan? Where did you get your safety all this time? Your luxury! Your arrogance. If it weren't for your father. You would never have received all these privileges."
"I never asked to be born into this savage family!"
One brutal hit Nathan's cheek. Instantly Nathan's body trembled. His father's punch immediately opened Nathan's cheeks red.
"Respect your mother!" shrieked Mr. Drigory.
Nathan didn't like it when his father talked about his mother. "Don't say anything about my mother! You don't deserve to mention her."
Mr. Drigory saw anger clearly in Nathan's eyes. And this time, Mr. Drigory couldn't be as loud as he had been to scold Nathan.
"Just focus on your school. Jimmy's messenger is my business. You have to study properly," said Mr. Drigory.
"Why would a mob kid go to college? Do you want me to work for a company? Or dad wants Black.
"Come in. I don't want you to interfere with Jimmy's death."
Nathan threw the gun again into his father's hand. Meanwhile, Nathan immediately went to his room.
Nathan's life is different from other people's. He is the son of the ruthless mobster Moreno Drigory. Of course, he couldn't live like an average person.
Jimmy Drigory, Nathan's older brother, is expected to continue his father's leadership. But Jimmy's death makes Mr. Drigory unable to pass the throne of this black world kingdom to him.
Nathan went to his room and immediately locked the door. Nathan immediately opened the desk drawer. He took the gun that was there. Nathan stared at his gun for a long time. He had secretly kept it from his father.

At the Peterson Family residence, a young woman in the room seemed to be lying unconscious. Mr. Peterson glanced at the woman for a moment. Then out of the room.
"Make sure he's taken away from town X. I don't want him to ask about that scumbag," said Mr. Peterson to the man in front of him, Diego.
"Very well, Sir," Diego replied. Mr. Peterson's right-hand man.
"For the time being, we're keeping an eye on Moreno Drigory's second son. He won't stand still because of his brother's death."
"Jonathan Drigory is just a kid, Mr. Peterson," Diego said.
Mr. Peterson gave Diego a harsh glance. He looked at his right hand as if he didn't want to believe his men said that.
"Still, he is the son of a Drigory. He has Drigory blood in him. Jimmy Drigory is already very much like his father. We can't miss this time," said Mr. Peterson.
"Yes, Sir.'"

Jimmy Drigory's death soon spread throughout the city of X. This caused an uproar throughout the campus where Nathan studied.
The Drigory family was very well known in this town. Yet Moreno Drigory was not an official. Or a public figure. He was a man who tickled the black world.
Many scary things are happening in this town regarding getting out of Drigory.
Jimmy Drigory's death, of course, made Nathan, the butt of people. Almost every time, he passed in front of crowds of students.
However, it was ignored entirely by Kimberly. The girl knew absolutely nothing about the Drigory Family.
