The next morning, Katherine woke up early as usual.

She got breakfast and lunch ready for the boys. She also made some lunch for herself and her boss Incase he didn't wanna eat out.

With that done, she then went on ahead to wake her two little cubs.

"Rise and shine boys, the beautiful day has just begun." She said and upon hearing that, Jun and Jin rubbed their eyes while standing up from the bed.

"Good morning Mama!" Jun said as he made his way into his bathroom. Meanwhile, Jin was still feeling a little sleepy but was then smacked open by Katherine, "C'mon...I have to go to work early so up you stand."

She said and he quickly stood up and walked into the bathroom leaving Katherine to just sigh at her boys.

With them fully dressed and herself dressed to, Katherine then brought her son's to the breakfast table with their food visible for their eyes to see.

They ate in calm and harmony and few minutes later, Ruby came in, ready to pick them up, "I'll take the boys today so focus well on work."

She said and upon hearing that, Katherine nodded and said, "Ok....just take care, boys be good on your way ok."

She said to them and they nodded to their mothers words, "Yes momma, we will be good boys." With that, she bent down and placed a nice peck on their cheeks before waving them goodbye.

With them now gone, she got herself ready to leave also.

Meanwhile,

Waking up, Mike got ready for work as he went downstairs for breakfast to find Rena on the table making a stupid video call with her annoying mother.

Upon seeing Mike, Rena quickly cut the call and said, "Good morning darling, how was your night?" She said with a creepy smile plastered on her face.

Mike didn't even give her a glance as he turned his head around to look for his daughter.

"She is getting dressed by the maids and will be out soon." Rene said as she knew the question he was gonna ask.

Hearing that, Mike nodded and went back upstairs. He didn't wanna be in the same room with her any longer.

After sometime, Katherine arrived at the Xi's Mansion (name of Mike's Mansion).

She got down from the cab and paid the driver before making her way in. She told the guards who she was and why she was here and with some clarification, they let her in.

Standing in front of the huge house, a maid came to attend to her as she said, "I'm Katherine and I'm here for Mr. Alexander, I'm his new secretary."

She said and upon hearing that, the maid nodded and told her to wait as she goes in to call Mike but she then stopped by Rena.

"What's going on and who is outside?" Rena asked with a rather annoyed expression.

Bowing her head, the maid answered, "Madame, It's the secretary of The Young Master." she said a little shaken.

Hearing that, a sneaky grin was plastered on Rena's face as she then said, "Then what are you waiting for, let her in already."

She ordered and upon hearing that, the maid nodded and did as she was instructed.

Katherine was called as instructed and although she was a little confused on why she was asked in, she entered anyway.

Upon seeing Rena, she greeted, "Good morning, My name is Katherine and I'm Mr. Alexander new secretary... it's nice to meet you."

She said and upon hearing that, Rena smiled and said, "Oh I know who you are. I'm Rena Alexander, your boss's wife if you don't know and it's also nice to meet you."

"Why don't you have breakfast with us, we were just about to get eating." She said with a weird smile plastered on her face.

Feeling a little chilly and weird, Katherine said, "Sorry ma'am but I have to decline. I've already had my breakfast this morning."

Katherine politely declined and upon hearing that, Rena nodded but before she could say another word.

The cute voice of Annabel was heard, "No! I don't want it in a ponytail, I want it braided."

She said as she was followed by some maids with brushes in their hands, "But young miss, you will look cutter with a ponytail."

The maid insisted but Annabel was still persistent to get her hair braided.

Hearing that Rena said, "Would you stop whining Annabel. it's early in the morning for crying out loud, just get your hair done and come here for breakfast."

Rena said as she was less bothered on what was going on with her daughter.

But upon seeing this, Katherine said, "If you wanna get your hair braided, I can help you." Katherine said sweetly and softly.

Upon hearing that, Annabel's bright green eyes light up like a disco ball. "Really? thank you very much."

She said as she made her way towards Katherine with her cute legs but was then stopped by the maids, "Where do you think you are going to young Miss, we aren't done with your hair yet!"

The maid said as she held the poor child's arm tightly Which made Annabel grunt in pain.

Meanwhile, Rena who was seeing all these, didn't seem concerned at all which made Katherine a little confused.

Was she stupid or blind that she couldn't tell when her daughter was being treated badly by the maids.

"What do you think that you are doing? Let her go this minute." Katherine shouted and this time, that calm and sweet expression disappeared instead a angry and fierce expression was now visible.

Upon seeing Katherine's scary and angry face, the maid quickly let her go and with her being set free, she quickly ran into Katherine's side. Where she felt safer.

"I think it's better you all get back to your work now since that's what you all are being paid for." Katherine said to the maids And they quickly left. Rena herself was as little terrified of her, who was this woman?

She could Change expressions so easily and still maintain a good posture. She was just Soo 'Graceful'
