Cultivation Into A True Dragon

This is the story of a young man whom wished to be the greatest gamer, and an "unfortunate" accident which put him on the journey to become something much greater than his wildest dreams would allow. I apologize if the art of the cover kinda sucks, I cant draw. Ignore the mini face

They walked, only looking ahead as after turning a corner, they came upon a large ground within the middle of the building, seemingly free of people at the moment, save for one. As Lunaria came upon the garden, he looked around in wonder, as 'garden' was a mere understatement of the beauty of the area

"Garden? More like Eden! This is so pretty!"

The area itself was modled to look like a commons area, with pathways and benches here and there, and even a few floating lamps with cyrstals inside them, the crystals currently inactive. However, the real beauty lie in the areas untouched by the pathways and benches, as massive bushes of numerous species of flowers would bloom like a surge of flora shot out the ground, announcing their presence to the world. And in the middle of the area, was a massive tree, one with white-pinkish bark and leaves as red as blood, with a old man currently using a low teir water spell to water the tree, as numerous faeries fly around him, and even the plants and grass itself looks as if it welcomes his presence

"Headmaster, I have come escorting Magumarn and the variable, I shall show myself out"

She bowed as she spoke, and when she was done, she flashed Magumarn a wink and walked away, swaying her body as Magumarn's eyes were almost glued to her disappearing figure before he shook his head back and forth and crossed his arms. That's when the headmaster spoke

"So, Mag"

His voice was soft and gentle, as if a happy grandfather

"Why is it you bring this child whom interupted out selection ceremony? Did you intend for him to take the place of the other students?"

"If I may sir-"

"You may not. This child, dragon or not, not only interrupteed the competition,"

He turned around, and he was the definition of a gnome, as he was short and stout definitely, but he had a long beard and matching handlebar mustaches, with a long green cap with green robes, both the hat and robes decorated with silver embroidery

"And on top of that, this child is far too young to enter our school. Can they even read? Child, what is the language of the continent?"

Lunaria, still stunned by the beauty around him, was startled by the gnome snapping him out of his state of wonder

"Oh! My name's Lunaria! Im a day old and-"

"Stop right there child. Magumarn, this child doesn't even know how to speak common, only Draconic, and you expect him to be able to survive here? Our students have a vicious self-imposed heirarchy, one I can't help with or intervene in as it is our school's policy that only the smartest, strongest, or the most influental or welthiest students survive. The resourceful survive here as well, but we are an institution for the growth of the world. Not preschool"

Magumarn would step up, and hold his arms out to the side as he leads his case

"But Headmaster, he's a genius! He's only a day old, yet not only did he master Telekinesis, he even cleared Redemption Bay! And on the same day, evolved into a Sea Dragon!"

"So he's a fool whom knows nothing of how the world works, nor does he know the standards that dragons are not supposed to evolve until they reach maturity, less health complications arise? I'm surprised he's even alive, considering most that tried died doing what he did"

Lunaria, hearing that, felt embarressed by his situation and looked down at the ground, his tail slumping on it, and tried to hide his face in embarresment
