Feras hadn't noticed but his feeling's towards people had taken a bit of a turn after having gained knowledge from the sphere, he didn't notice due to his lack of interaction with people but he had become quite different from the bright eyed youth he had been before his self study.

'So if alter the intrinsic nature here then....' thought Feras before he heard a harsh knocking at the door.

Feras was confused, he hadn't had visitors in months, it had been two weeks since his attempt at reviving his father by this point and the youth had been caught up in his theories that he hadn't realized time had passed that quickly.

Once again a series of harsh knocks banged on his door, sighing to himself he walked down the stairs from his makeshift laboratory which had been the library and opened the door only to see military police standing before him.

"Hello, are you Feras Strom" asked the apparent head of this little brigade.

"I am, why are you here" asked Feras as he looked at these people suspiciously.

"We regret to inform you that your Father's grave has been robbed and his remain's whereabouts unknown, we would like to come in and ask if you might know anything or know of anyone that would have taken them as this is a matter of national security" explained the Officer.

Feras opened the door the rest of the way allowing them entry but unknown to him the smell of death permeated the house which was instantly picked up by the Officers as they looked at Feras with their own suspicions.

Feras detected their gaze and knew he had forgotten something, but he couldn't think of what. To think a smell would be a cause for suspicion never crossed his mind as he had already grown used to it and no longer bothered him.

A few of the men at the side didn't have as good of control as the more professional officers as they crinkled their noses in disgust alerting the youth to what was wrong.

"I apologize for the smell, I haven't been very cleanly since father has passed....." informed Feras causing some of the younger officers to feel a bit bad.

"I see, then can you tell me what you were doing two weeks ago around the time of the incident" asked the officer causing Feras to put on a look of surprise as he grit his teeth and forced tears to well up in his eyes.

"Your saying it took you two weeks to tell me about this" asked Feras changing the accusing finger towards the officers themselves.

"It was part of procedure, to be kept on a need to know basis" explained the officer but Feras merely stood up in outrage.

"A need to know basis, who would need to know more than me." stated Feras with narrowed eyes.

The Officers had to admit that his words were true, next of kin should have been informed sooner.

"Listen we realize we are at fault on that account but it is crucial that you tell us what you were doing the day of the incident and if you had seen anything suspicious" stated the leading officer though his temperament was a bit more humane in it's aspect.

"I was hunting and had caught a rabbit, I ran back to the house and had prepared it before falling asleep intending to eat it for dinner." stated Feras with a look of anger still plastered on his face.

The officer nodded but he would be asking around the village to see if there were any witnesses to this event, however he was still suspicious of the smell lingering in the room.

The questioning continued for some time until the sun had fallen low into the sky but the officer's weren't done quite yet.

"Would you mind if we looked around a bit, to see if there are any signs of trespassing or forced entry" asked the Leading officer.

"If you insist" remarked Feras as he left and returned to his laboratory/ library.

Thus the Officers began searching the house from top to bottom but there was no sign of a body, walking to the library/Laboratory the Leading officer offered his apologies.

"I apologize for disturbing you, we will be leaving now to investigate elsewhere. We will inform you if we find anything out in the future, I ask that you keep an eye out for any suspicious activity around your home as it is very likely the person responsible is working for a foreign power. If you have no questions then me and my men will be taking our leave" stated the Leading officer.

"I wish you luck in your investigation and hope you find the men responsible for my father's grave being robbed" answered Feras as he escorted the men out of his home before returning to his work.

Feras watched from the window as the men left via carriage.

'Seems I missed a few steps, but then again if I had succeeded it wouldn't have been necessary' thought Feras as he finished his notes before reading over them again to check for any place he may have missed some mistakes.

He would need to begin the physical practice of his spells if he wished to see his path broaden, to do so he would need to travel as it wouldn't do for him to stay in one location but it should be okay for him to take a few more subjects.

However he wouldn't be able to risk it with the investigation going on, thus he could only settle for some of his lesser attempting some his other ideas until the whole thing blew over.

'Fine, it wouldn't do for me to carry a bunch of corpses in broad daylight anyways' thought Feras as he pulled out a new book and began scribbling in formulae.
