🌼Amari's P. O. V.🌼

I yawned and tried to stretch my limp but was halted by muscular arms around me. I opened my eyes to see the beautiful man right in front of me. I couldn't help but stare at the man. He has a very manly face adorned with a stubble beard. I don't want to describe him, but his face looks angelic when sleeping. His eyebrows are thick and his jaws are sharp.

I didn't realize I had been caressing his face when I reached his brows. My thumb caresses his eyebrows and eyes. It ran down his nose and reached his lips. I don't know what came over me but I leaned down and press my lips to the corner of his lips. It only lasts for a second before I pulled away and open my eyes. I know he had kissed me many times forcefully, yet up until now I still don't know how to kiss.

I'm beginning to believe that he's the boy in my dream. This man is the boy in my childhood. Those photographs made it clear that his real name is Richard Gatto. But I wonder why he did not tell me the time he saw me in the kitchen? I'm also beginning to doubt whether Eva and Ben had known him since then. All I knew, is Eva used to tell me that someone out there loves me dearly whenever I get bullied.

The moment I saw this man, I had an unexplainable connection deep in my heart. Something I had never felt before. Never did a man make me feel special like he did. He made me feel safe and protected yet he's the one who made me feel unsafe.

"Why didn't you tell me, Richard?" I whispered and continued to caress his face. I snuggled close to his chest and wrap my arm around his big muscular body. I don't really care what he looks like. As long as he's my mate I will love him.

No matter how hard I try to suppress it, I'm begging to fall deeply in love with him.

I woke up to a hand on my stomach, rubbing it gently.

"Do you know how excited daddy is to meet you?"

"Yes, I couldn't wait any longer."

"You do? I love your mommy too...but she's not the only girl I will love..." My heart stopped at his words until he spoke again. "...because in the future you will have a baby sister. What do you say?"

I smile made its way to my lips. His voice is soft and gentle. He kissed my tummy one last time before whispering, "I love you, daddy's prince."

His eyes trailed up to mine until it reaches my eyes. He hovers over me still staring into my eyes. His shimmering eyes didn't go unnoticed by me.

"I love you so much, my beautiful Amari," he whispered through half-lidded eyes. "You made my heart beat at a rapid pace. Only you are the one to make me feel this way, ever since."

He leaned closer and closed his eyes. I couldn't help but close my eyes until I felt his lips brush mine. He didn't move, he only hover his lips to mine for a minute until he pulled away slowly before I open my eyes. His eyes were darkened for a split second. As if in a daze, he immediately backs away from me.

I propped myself up using both my elbows and stared at him in confusion.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked. Oh no! I probably sounded like I'm asking for it. Ewwwwww! Gross, gross, gross!

He chuckled and shook his head. "You're always as innocent as before," he whispered amusedly. "You never really changed--still as curious as a kitten."

Now, I'm embarrassed.

"No, I'm not," I objected.

"Really?" he wondered out loud. "Given you kissed me a while ago."

My eyes widen at his words and gasped at his next words.

"Don't worry, I like it," he sang.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I babbled and stood up slowly.

"Hey, hey, no need to be embarrassed," he called out. "You should get used to me by now. Why do you always shy away from me?"

I only entered his bathroom and locked it. I slid down the door feeling my face heating up. I easily get flustered by him these past few days. What's wrong with me? I could hear his laughter behind the door causing me to roll my eyes.

After an hour, someone knocked on the door of his bathroom. I just finished my long bath.

"Ye-yes?" I called out.

"Are you done, Amore?" he asked.

"Yeah, just a sec." I opened the door to see him standing, wearing a dark color dress shirt. It fits him just right. It made his handsome face stand out-

"I know..." he suddenly spoke. "And this handsome man is all yours. No need to worry."

Did he just hear me? "How arrogant!"

"Is that so?"

"Shut up!"

"I thought you were done with the mood swing."

I huffed a reply and step out of the bathroom. I instantly squeal when he throws us both in the bed with me on my back on top of him.

"What do you think you're doing!"

"She's still mad," he mumbled. "How do I amend my mistakes?"

I felt chills as he said that. Amend for which mistake? When he forced me? I guess he didn't realize what he just said.

He set us up on the edge of the bed with him behind me.

"Love, are you alright?" he pumped. "Did I say something...of course, I'm such an idiot...Love, I didn't mean to ask you something like that."

"No, it-it's fine."

He kissed my neck. "I'm so sorry, Amore." He stands up with me and makes me sit back on the bed. "If you aren't feeling well maybe we can call off this appointment."

"I'm fine," I mumbled. "Besides, you promised not to have another plan today. Also, we're the ones who called Doctor Baker."

"How could I forget that?" he cockled. "Didn't I say I'm all yours today? Do whatever you like with me... hmmm?"

"You're crazy!" I gasped.

"Crazy about you, Mia Amore."

I huffed and hopped off the bed. He's being cocky. He lay back on the bed and erupted in a heartfelt laugh. To be honest, I like to hear that yet I looked back at him and rolled my eyes.

Do you know what he did?

He sat back on the bed and copied my roll of eyes which caused me to laugh. I went back to the bathroom again to calm down a bit.

After a few minutes, I came out of the bathroom, ready to leave but he wasn't anywhere to be found. I decided to go to the balcony.

I looked out to see many trees and roses. It felt so refreshing and calming. I couldn't help but sing.
