Chapter 34: Bound

The moon hangs high and lights the perimeter of the warehouse. Crash carefully walks around in search of an opening. 'No way of breaking in.' Crash frowns. He shivers while hearing a cry from inside the building. 'There's a kid inside…I'm sure of it!' With a determined pace, he darts around to the front.

The white vehicle is still absent. Crash sighs with a bit of relief. To investigate with the perpetrators nearby would be risky. However, seeing that they aren't on the grounds, Crash is confident that he can gather information quickly. He reaches the front double doors. With both hands, the curious teen pulls on the latch.

"Shoot," Crash shakes his head. "The door's locked!"

He crosses his arms in frustration. 'How can I enter…?' Crash's mind searches for an answer. Without a hole in the frame, the warehouse is seemingly impenetrable. 'The windows!' He smiles. 'Why didn't I think of that before?' With a new tactic, Crash rounds the right side of the warehouse.
