Hello 21st Technology

With her eyes tightly closed, Sunny bit the chocolate. A smooth texture and a sweet-bitter taste entered her mouth. Maybe because of hunger, the chocolate tasted so good! It's not even a Ferrero Rocher but a local product that can be bought in any convenience store.

What a good way to die because of food poisoning!

Enticed by the taste, her expression looked deplorable, like she was on cloud nine.

While munching on the chocolate, Sunny continued to explore the inside of the log house. The first door on the left side looks like the comfort room. It has a toilet bowl, a lavatory, and a big mirror hanging on the wall.

Now Sunny can see herself clearly. That was her childish face, alright. She really turned into a kid. She didn't transmigrate into another body. Transported may be the right term. But how did she become a kid? Magic perhaps? Is this a fantasy world like in the movies people are talking about?

Oh God, she just wanted to leave a happy married life. She didn't want to trouble herself with things like saving the world, slaying dragons and monsters, crushing brains in a zombie apocalypse, collecting a harem of handsome men, or even standing at the pinnacle of the world as the greatest cultivator. She hadn't even dreamt any of that.

After making sure that there was water running from the faucet, she checked the next room. That room is bigger and has a double bed in the middle. Her mouth hung open when she saw a flat-screen TV on the wall.

Oh dear, hello there, twenty-first century! It's good to know that there is a presence here of modern technology.

But the television didn't have any signal, to Sunny's utter dismay. And it really bothers her that there are no cords on the appliances and there are no outlets, which is the source of electricity.

Does it have to do with the stone she's seeing protruding from the wall at the back of the TV? The refrigerator has it too. Those stones were also the source of light in the whole house.

Good gracious! It has to be a magical ore that can be mined inside a dungeon, like a source of energy or something like that.

Drat, she's adapting quite easily to a fantasy set-up for a realist. Well, she played RPGs after all on her day off.

It seems like the purpose of the TV is to watch DVDs. There are tons of DVD collections on a high rack in the corner of the room. However, there was no telephone at the bedside.

She trotted into a walk-in closet and found clothes in her size. There must have been a little girl residing in that house. Even the size of the jumper on her is perfect. Under the jumper, she had an orange hoodie. Then she wore a black, thick-long jacket over it. Her feet felt warm and toasty inside the soft boots. It's quite a perfect outfit for a little thief like her. She's not proud of what she's doing, but it's not like she had any other choice.

After getting amazed over and over again, she finally finished exploring the log house. The door on the right of the hallway seemed like a small clinic. Sunny couldn't even believe that it had almost all the surgical machines and equipment a hospital had. There are also medical supplies and medicines in the cabinet.

Who the heck is the owner of that log house?

It was like that person prepared everything a human needs to live here in seclusion.

Clutching her chest, she felt rather uncomfortable, as if she would be drowned in her own emotions. Did she forget something important?

It should be alright to think about it tomorrow. She should have rested first to keep her energy. At least in the morning, she can investigate the forest.
