Ace knew better than to tell his concerned neighbor about the whole situation. He didn't know who she really was or if she was part of a test. He had being told to expect a test.

Laurel was kind but he doesn't know if she was acting clueless or was part of the whole charade. After all he had seen her with these two men beside her. She could be his sister, girlfriend or wife for all he cared.

Test or not, he knew he has passed with the way Laurel greedily gulped all his lies about delivery.

'You should stay away from this place." Laurel admonished. 'I sense something strange going on here." She gazed at Lucas, grateful he didn't know Spanish. She wasn't sure but he could tell from the puzzled look on his face.

Ace had switched to Spanish only to convince his dearest neighbor that he was till that cute little angel she knew.
