Pov: Shirou
my life changed from that point, I discovered the reality reading books and watching news, apparently I was reincarnated in a world away from mine, that woman called Usagiyama Rumi or as people popularly know her Mirko the rabbit hero, is my mother and also the person who achieved my ideology, to be a hero of justice.
It turns out that I came to a world where people have "Gifts" which are supernatural powers with which they are born, grow, live and die, although that surprised me, it turns out that heroes are something common here, helping and saving people with a smile, but the reality is that through all my years of life I have the experience to see things beyond what they appear.
this peace in this world has only one pillar, the peace in this world has as much blood on it as the blood that stained my hands, no, my hands are not stained, but to clean the street you must always get your hands full of shit, the much broader question, who is the one who works in the dark, the one who gets no credit, the one who must break the rules and can't smile anymore because of his dark work, the one who does my job.
Even though I am only 7 years old in this world, I am just a normal child, many times I see her running, sometimes she prepares food for me that is not fast or brought from outside by order, the only problem when she prepares food is that she always has carrots, I wish I could cook for her but my hands, my body is much smaller than I remember, this is to live again.
We discovered my "gift" in two ways, Rumi arrived one day from a fight.
Pov: narrator
darkness filled the place, the lights off, as Shirou watches the television, that person who is now his mother fighting villains, while the announcer speaks.
"the heroine Mirko is in a disadvantageous situation, but as we can see there is no one who can stand up to her powerful kicks."
with agile movements Mirko jumped between the walls to hit a two-headed villain, before this act the villain who had electric power tried to hit him fast but in a wide speed he sent him flying without receiving a scratch.
at these scenes Shirou clenched his hands, because deep down he knew, the smile, the burning fervor in Mirko's eyes reminded him clearly of his past self, the one who wanted to be a hero no matter what risks he had to take.
"she's amazing...."
but as those words left his mouth, a shadow settled behind him.
"so mommy is amazing?"
a smile on her face showed her joy, while Shirou in surprise jumped.
"no, Rumi, well you... maybe a little."
embarrassed at being caught, he looked down as he tried not to stutter in front of her, but a blow to his head came from Rumi's closed hand.
"R.U.M.I?"
"ahu!"
then her hand repositioned while looking at him seriously, but then Shirou noticed something, a wound on Rumi's arm was slowly closing, she also noticed it because of the warmth, in the area.
" you?...can you heal?"
dumbfounded and surprised she looked at his hands and then at the now healed arm, Rumi at that moment had a tremor in her eyes, but soon jumped on Shirou, throwing him with her arms up and receiving him.
"You have a Gift!"
confused Shirou was still watching her calmly, at the joy on her face, then she set him down on the couch and watched him excitedly clenching her fists.
"Shirou now you can be like mommy!"
confused at the situation Shirou clenched his hands thinking it wasn't real, he had the gift to heal, it was ironic if after all he was broken and can't heal himself.
"imagine being a hero, wearing a matching bunny suit like me, we'll be a team!"
at his words Shirou imagined himself in a rabbit suit and shook his head, at this action Rumi was surprised and looked at him puzzled.
"Don't you want to be a hero?"
Shirou hurried and touched her face with his small hands, looking at her decisively.
"yes, but I don't want a bunny suit."
the fire returned to her gaze and started chattering nonsense as Shirou rambled in his mind, about whether it was deserved or not, about different things, but then Rumi said something that caught his attention.
"I will train you, so that when the time comes you will be in the best school in the country."
"The best?"
confused Shirou looked at her, but the fire in her gaze, the fervor in her was contagious, Shirou for a moment thought.
*maybe this is my prize, maybe everything will be alright at last*.
the meal was normal, Rumi called herself mommy always, but Shirou called her by her name which always brought her some punches, but when it was time to train, Rumi went from being the friendly mother to a heroine, the fire shining in her eyes and her fast movements, were works of art, that's how she taught Shirou the combat system to not lose balance, fight quickly against a large group of enemies and above all to keep calm.
Together they also thought about Shirou's deficiencies to be a hero, after all that dream fulminated by his past as Archer, that dream that Kiritsugu once left him shone again in his heart, he doesn't know if it's because of age or because everything seems perfect, but at that moment, in that instance that dream seemed so close and real, it seemed possible, that childhood dream.
