Nami woke up when she felt like suffocating. She couldn't figure out what was happening around her, due to the disorientation. But after a few seconds of such a feeling, suddenly her perception became very sharp as if someone had woken her up.

She found herself getting dragged on the water surface.

'fuck !' she cursed in her mind again as she realized that she passed out earlier after she faced Arlong.

Nami barely had any strength left in order to turn around and look into the water. Arlong was taking her away while swimming near the surface of the water to keep her alive.

For a moment Nami couldn't understand the situation. But then she decided to calm down and escape from Arlong first.

Obviously she didn't have her kitty staff. But she has other means to escape.

She was not an idiot who would try to escape a fishman in the water.

But preparing for her escape won't hurt her in any way.

But suddenly for some reason everything went dark again.

Nami immediately felt weird and slimy. Not knowing the situation, she took out the small knife from her bracelet and stabbed the floor as hard as she could. Then she felt an intense tremor when suddenly everything went dark again.

"Fuck !" Arlong cursed looking at the dead sea king.

He had kidnapped the little human girl in order to find out from where she had heard his name.

But while taking her away, out of nowhere, a giant sea king attacked him and bit off his arm along with the little human girl.

In rage Arlong killed the sea king. He has never expected such a thing.

'How in the world did that sea king get so close to me without my notice ?'

Arlong could only curse his own luck for the mishap.

Without wanting to stay in that place, Arnold quickly went towards the nearest Island in order to stop his bleeding.

//A couple of days later, Logue town, east blue

"This sea king has died recently. It is salvageable. Bring it to my butcher house. I will process it. But I will take 20 pounds of meat and three percent money from the rest of the sale. How about it ?" The local butcher offered the young fisherman who had caught the fish.

"Fine ! But three percent after the transportation cost." The fisherman negotiated.

"Deal." And the butcher agreed.

Later that day, the butcher found an unconscious but alive little girl from the esophagus of the sea King.

She was immediately taken to the local doctor for treatment.

//On the same day when Nami was found by a butcher from the louge town.

In the holy lands of Mariejoice, three food testing slaves died after testing the recent supply of tangerine syrup.

So the entire kitchen was in panic mode.

Everyone knew what was about to happen.

A few years ago, a celestial dragon had died after drinking poisoned alcohol from a certain Kingdom in the West blue.

After that the entire Kingdom was destroyed by a buster call and pirates were famed for the act.

After that incident some of the special slaves were brought in order to check the poisons from the food products coming outside from the holy lands of Mariejoice.

A new silent rule was brought by the five elders after that incident. An attempt to murder of a celestial dragon will be retaliated against openly.

As soon as the news of poison in the tangerine syrup reached the ears of the five elders, a new order was issued to the Marines.

That afternoon, five vice admirals along with ten marine captains and five marine battleships sailed towards east blue.

The fate of the Cocoyashi village and the Conomi Island was sealed.

It was nothing but destruction.

Bellemere has been in distress since the last few days.

Nami has suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. She found her staff inside the factory building. But there was no sign of her disappearance. After searching for an entire day, she complained at the local Marine base.

But so far there is no result.

Nami was smart and matured. Unlike any other kids of her age, she was extremely advanced in both brain and brawn.

So for Bellemere it was hard to believe that Nami had left the island of her own choice.

But Bellemere didn't have any other option to find her except for complaining In The Marine office in case she was kidnapped.

It has been 3 days since her daughter disappeared. Bellemere couldn't focus on her work as she was extremely worried about Nami.

"Bellemere ! Come out ! Hurry !"

The shout of Genzo broke Bellemere out of her thoughts.

Responding to the urgent call, Bellemere came out of the house.

"Come to the port ! Hurry !" Genzo didn't explain anything and just went away.

When she started running towards the port, she noticed multiple Battleships in the distance.

A sudden dread filled her heart as she went towards the port.

AN: originally I was planning to kill everyone in the Conomi Island and write the entire buster call in this chapter. But then I changed my plan because I think it won't be impactful enough to our protagonist. So there will be another half chapter when a certain villager will explain everything to Nami.

So sorry for the short chapter.
