Can you love me, Dear husband?

Loveth was the one to represent her company. She woke up as early as possible. She rushed to the bathroom to have her bath.

"Oh it's almost time," she said to herself as she finished dressing up.

She rushed to her car and zoomed off.

"The oil and gas company, here I come", Loveth thought.

She got out of the car and went straight to the company hall. She entered the hall and discovered that the place was already arranged neatly. Music was going underground. Some important dignitaries have already been seated.

Loveth walked majestically to the front, she sat down and looked to her right. She saw a tall, dark-skinned man with coiled hair sitting close to her.

"Wow! This guy is handsome. He will be in his late twenties. That means we will be in the same age range. I can't wait to meet him" Loveth thought and flashed her white set of teeth.

Loveth thought about her life and discovered that something is missing, which is a man.

"I need a man in my life. A man that I will call my husband. Enough of playing around. And I think I've seen him" Loveth thought and smiled.

A Few minutes later, the meeting started and Loveth could not concentrate on all that the managing director of oil and gas was saying. She was busy staring at the handsome figure sitting close to her.

It came to a time that she thought of recording what the director was saying.

"Who is this lady that has been staring at me? Wow! She is very beautiful, look at how her smile is pleasing to my soul" Williams thought when Loveth's eyes and his eyes met.

"Wow! He noticed me, he even smiled at me. This is my own man. I must not miss him.

Maybe I should not rush home when we are done" Loveth thought.

The director of oil and gas finished his speech and handed over the microphone to the next speaker.

Loveth was so surprised when the man she was crushing on stood up and walk majestically outside to give his speech

"Wow! He is even their manager. This is perfect. I have him already. My dad will be happy to hand over me to him" Loveth thought

Williams gave his speech perfectly that people began to clap for him

As Williams got down and started coming, Loveth quickly stood up and gave him a handshake.

"What a beautiful presentation! Keep it up" Loveth said with a broad smile.

"Thank you pretty! Williams said calmly and went back to his seat.

"Who is this lady? She is too beautiful to behold. Is she from our company? Oh no! She couldn't be" Williams thought.

After a few minutes, Loveth was called to give her presentation. She was so carried away that she didn't know that her name had been called. They have to call her twice before she could come to her consciousness.

"Why am I so engrossed with this guy? I pray I represent my company well. Where is my file? Oh! I've not even brought it out" Loveth thought and quickly searched her bag to bring it out.

She stood up immediately and walked majestically to the podium.

She climbed the podium and faced the audience. She was so surprised at the caliber of people sitting there.

She handled the microphone and began to talk. People began to clap for her. The managing director of oil and gas was so impressed with her presentation. He decided to partner with her company.

Loveth was a bit nervous but the clapping of people geared her up. After a few minutes, she finished her presentation and went back to her seat. People began to clap till she got to her seat.

"I'm so happy. It's like I've done well. look at how people are staring at me" Loveth said to herself.

The managing director of oil and gas stood up and went back to the podium. He cleared his throat and praised the brilliant presentation of Loveth from Henry and sons company.

He talked about other things and the meeting was over.

" I like this lady, I love her presentation. I pray that my boss approved our partnership. " Williams thought as he stood up and walked in the direction where Loveth was sitting.

"Wow! He is coming in this direction. Maybe he wanted to say hi to me" Loveth thought

She quickly picked up her bag and stood up as if she was already leaving. She began to walk out of the big hall.

"Why is he not calling me back? I thought he was about to call me. Why did I have to leave? Should I go back or what should I do? I must not miss this opportunity" Loveth lamented.

She took a few steps more before she decided to turn back and search for Williams himself

As she turned back. The person she bumped into was a surprise to her.

"What! He is following me" Loveth thought and gave a wide grin

"Oh sorry, I didn't know you had stopped walking," a voice said and quickly helped her to pick up her files from the floor.

"No! Problem" Loveth said nervously and collected her file.

"What is wrong with me? I should have been patient for a few minutes." Loveth said to herself.

I'm Williams, the manager of oil and gas. And you?" The voice said.

"Hmm! I'm Loveth the only daughter of the owner of Henry and sons' company.

" Do you mean Henry and sons' company that is very close to the cement company?" Williams said in surprise.

"Yes, I'm the daughter of the owner of Henry and my sons' company. I came for this presentation." Loveth said.

"Wow! That is great, I like your presentation. I hope the director approves partnering with your company" Williams said.

They both walked outside and began to talk. After a few minutes, Williams asked if they could go out for lunch before going home.

Loveth thought for a few seconds before admitting that they should go out for dinner.

"Wow! This is a great avenue to get to know each other better. It was as if we have planned it. Everything began to happen very fast" Loveth thought

As they moved to the car pack. A man in his late fifties who happens to be the director of oil and gas called Williams.

Williams quickly ran back hurriedly.

" Oh! What is it? Why did this man want to spoil my show? Can't he call him later? " Loveth murmurs

Williams dipped his hand into his pocket to check for his business card. He discovered that it was not there. He quickly went to his car and brought out his business card. He gave her the card and they exchanged phone numbers. He promised to call her later.

"This man has spoilt the show. I have to wait a bit, maybe his director will release him In time." Loveth thought and walked into her car.

William rushed to the director and they began to discuss what happened earlier.

William was so happy that his director could also observe the brilliant performance of Loveth.

The director instructed Williams to prepare the partnering form that they will send through email to Loveth's company.

Williams' joy knew no bounds, he quickly went to his secretary and gave him the letterhead paper to prepare the partnering letter and agreement letter.

Williams came out and was surprised to see Loveth still resting on a car.

"What could have happened to her? Did she forget something? Why has she not gone? Or is she waiting for me?" Williams asked nobody in particular.

Williams did as if he didn't see her. He walked in that direction and looked back.

"What! You are still here. Don't tell me that I'm delaying a beautiful lady." Williams said with a smile.

Loveth was shocked. She quickly entered her car.

"Not at all. I forgot something and I came to pick it" Loveth said to cover up.

"Oh! Sorry. Have you seen it now or should we go and check?" Williams said with a broad smile.

"Oh no! I've seen it. I have to go now. Enjoy the rest of your day,? Loveth said and ignited the engine

" Wow! Her car is so beautiful. I hope she won't embarrass me if I approach her" Williams thought.

Loveth didn't want to appear very cheap so she summoned courage and moved out of the oil and gas premises.

"If he truly wants me. He would call me" Loveth thought and zoomed off.

She was very happy that her presentation was perfect. She hoped to receive the great news on the following day. She was so happy that she also met a man who she could marry.

She began to play music and dance as she drove to her office.

"My father would be so happy with me if the oil and gas company partnered with our company."Liveth thought and laughed.

" He will also be happy if I tell him that I will be getting married soon," Loveth thought.

Williams could not keep his mind off Loveth. He kept remembering her and the way she spoke brilliantly in the presentation.

"I need to call her. But the car she was driving scared me away. Could she accept me? I've not even bought a motorcycle, not to talk of a car" Williams said sadly.

He thought for a while and later decided to call her. He searched his pocket to pick out the business card given to her by Loveth and said the number on his phone.

Loveth was about to enter her office when she discovered that her phone was ringing.

"Who is this with an unknown number?" She thought
