Alexander pulled back. He had tears in the corner of his eyes as he spoke with a trembling voice. "I'd understand if you hate me."
Corina frowned and pressed her forehead against his. "Shut up and kiss me," she demanded with a firm voice.
Corina then pressed her lips firmly against his. She kissed Alexander passionately, her hands sliding to the back of his head to tangle in his hair. She closed her eyes, but could tell he was still trying to hold back tears.
She didn't want her husband to feel sad. Despite his flaws, Corina wanted Alexander to understand her love, and she could see that he still struggled to see his positive qualities.
