Before her wedding, she hadn't spent much time exploring the expansive palace grounds outside. She had picked up a book from the library and walked around the palace in search of a tranquil place to read.
Eventually, Corina found a perfect spot in the back. Closeby, was a horse stable. There was also a small lake and a giant oak tree, which provided a comfortable, shady area.
The blonde sat down under the tree, drew up her knees close to her chest underneath her dress, then began reading the book. It was a book with a collection of fairytales. She was familiar with most of the stories, but always enjoyed reading them again from time-to-time.
Corina was unaware of how many hours passed by as she relaxed outside. The gentle breeze that brushed against her skin allowed her to relax so much that she fell into a slumber.
Before long, something moved against her fingers as she held the open book, startling her awake.
