Alex was sitting with his father, Roxy, and Talhand, they were discussing about the last few years.

then everything went to shit as soon as geese walked in.

"Hey, Paul... Who's this?".

the monkey-faced man asked, tilting his head in confusion.

Alex narrowed his eyes at the man, restraining his hiking intend as well as his Holy power.

"Geese, Alex, My son has arrived just today to help us".

Paul exclaimed happily, waving his long-time friend over.

"Oh...".

he looked a little lost, staring at Alex, then at Paul, then at Alex again.

"well, I guess he takes after his mother because he certainly doesn't look like you... much".

he quickly recovered, and responded with a smile, making his internal debate look like he was comparing father and son.

he quickly walked over to the table, sat down, and started talking.

"So how have you been? I heard a lot from your brother, where is he by the way?".

he questions, with a happy tone... yeah he did not fall for it.

"I forced him to remain at the course to take care of our sisters".

Paul chuckled, knowing what happened since they were just talking about it.

"how about the little miss?".

Geese questioned with a wiggling eyebrow, giving him a suggestive look.

"I promised her that she could take the lead for two months if she stayed, she reluctantly agreed".

the table was quiet for a few seconds before all the males burst into laughter, while Roxy deadpanned.

"... why are you laughing? can't she take charge of her training for two months? I bet she will get me to teach her the lightning infusion".

they looked over to Alex, who looked very confused, looking at them with a raised eyebrow.

with a quiet "oh" they quieted down.

(besides, she could take the lead in bed if she just asked, but ill let her figure that out on her own).

after Lilia woke up, they decided to go for the dungeon, they had someone to save after all.

"good luck, young master".

nodding to his stepmother's encouraging words, he turned to the dungeon.

it was pretty far from the city, they had to use a horse...

(pfft they use horses for travel, BRUH).

turning back to his makeshift gang of misfits he walked into the dungeon with them.

"so, Alex, you mentioned a shortcut?".

questioned Roxy, but that only made him smirk with glee.

quietly taking out his sword, he twirls it around and holds it over his head, and concentrates.

(okay, don't mess this up or you will look like an idiot).

"Ex-".

he concentrated the holy power into his sword and a golden light burst out, ripping through the ceiling and bursting out of the dungeon.

"-Calibur!".

and with a mighty swing, the dungeon, the continent, the sea, got a new gash in it.

...at least he got access to the dungeon boss, right?

Right.

"... well, there only need to be a slight change in the maps, nothing major".

he said with a smile, ignoring the falling rocks, and dust as he looked over to the gobsmacked expression of his dad, teacher, and the dwarf.

he swiped his hand to redirect a rock falling on him, and looked down to the new valley he just made...

The hydra was dead...

and here he was, expecting a good fight with a mighty beast.

(...oh shit mom!).

he quickly jumped down, using wind magic to slow down his descent, and landed on a dead hydra.

quickly looking around he saw the crystal where his mother was supposed to be.

and she was there but was falling, the crystal disappeared with the defeat of the boss... or the destruction of the dungeon, he couldn't tell.

enhancing his body, he dashed forward, reaching her mother and catching her before she hit the ground.

nothing was wrong, since he cast a Saint rank healing spell, she was just unconscious.

with a sigh, he looked back up and jumped to reach his father.

"Zenith! is she hurt?".

Paul panicked, momentarily forgetting the giant gash left on land, and rushed towards his wife.

"No, she's fine, just unconscious, though I don't know what happens when someone is stuck in a crystal".

Alex answered while forming an earth barrier around them.

though he wished Geese would have been hit but the Roxy formed her own barrier.

"let's take her out of here first, dungeon isn't the best sleeping place".

Alex nodded to the suggestion as Paul picked her up and they started getting out of the dungeon, his only worry now was Zenith, he would even use Avalon to heal her.

he would deal with the monkey later, and he knew exactly how.
