Project Work I

When Hana Reach in front of the class she saw everyone was still talking with each other and sighed in relief since the teacher was yet to come.

She quickly went to her place and take a sit. It was just the start of school and she was already tired of running twice.

While rummaging her bag she was suddenly hit by a crumpled ball of paper. She looks around to find out who is messing around her, only to find Byul indicating to pick it up. She glared at Byul before picking it up.

Hana: ".."

Namjoon was early today just to talk with Hana but not only she came late but also he didn't know how should he start the conversation.

When Hana came hurriedly, and take a seat beside him breathing heavily, he wanted to ask her 'what happen' but was afraid she will think him as a busybody.

When he was contemplating his inner thought he feels a gust of wind flow from aside. Then he saw Hana bend down to pick something like a paper ball.

The minute after opening paper her face was blank, unknowingly he peeps at the letter which makes him let out a small laugh.

'Why are you in class, shouldn't you be in downstairs receiving punishment. I even was planning to go out in a while to click your photo of being punished.'

Hana rolls her eyes and dumps the letter in a dustbin behind them having no plan to answer.

Knowing she will not receive her answer soon Byul kept on throwing paper or sending a text to Hana. She was about to throw another crumble paper when she heard the voice of Mrs Shen.

"Byul, care to explain what are you doing?"

Byul stops in the middle of her action one hand in the air ready to throw paper while facing backwards. All of the students have an eye on her, Hana was even smiling, her smile looks like wishing her good luck.

She slowly turns her head toward Mrs Shen and quickly put her hand down when she realizes it was still in the air.

"umm, Maam that …since dustbin is at back I was passing the paper to Hana to throw it. Seeing you are already here then I'll throw it later. Hehe"

Byul laughed awkwardly as she puts the paper in her bag. Given that it was not serious to give punishment Mrs Shen begins to start her class.

"You are in the senior class, and nothing else should matter for you guys than study. Your focus should be set on the goal, it's time to pay off your hard work so never lose your focus."

Mrs Shen was known as a strict but easygoing teacher in the whole school. Not unless you make serious trouble she will not hold an account with any student.

Since she was a science teacher she tends to give a lot of project work, which not only make learning fun but also easy to understand.

"Since you, all are studying hard without any break and extra circular activities; you may think the senior class is boring. So, to make it fun, this week will be your project week. Everyone will be paired in a maximum of four groups and minimum two. You can choose your partner, and need to submit your work first class next week."

Everyone begins to cheer up, soon the class was filled with the chatter of discussing partners and even praising Mrs Shen.

"Yahh! Yahh, stop it. I'm not finished yet." Mrs Shen hit the table twice to gain all the student's attention.

"Since you have a lot of time and can even do it in my period. You are going to make a project on two chapters, you can ask me if you need help but only with difficult questions and you can go to the library if you want in my period. But remember no one is allowed to slack off if I find anyone... your internal marks will be cut off."

With that, she begins to explain some of the points and on the topic given to submit the project.

Soon it was time for lunch every student in their class was discussing project excitedly. Some of them even asked Namjoon and Hana to join with them but was rejected. Namjoon even said he and Hoseokh were grouped with Hana and Byul since they were already four of them, no extra member can be added.

Hana did hear what Namjoon was saying but thinking he doesn't want to pair with anyone and thinking she will also not he just made an excuse. Since it was fine because she also doesn't want to pair with anyone. In a group project, only one tends to do work while others just hang out.

She has already been in such case several occasions, at first, all of them excitedly start working but after a few days all of them slack so she had completed several projects on her own before. Since then she never grouped anyone beside Byul. As for Byul even she doesn't do anything there will be at least be someone to keep company.
