Advices(Edited)

Before Hana can response Namjoon pick up her stuff and put it on her bag doing same with his and drag her out of the library.

When she came to know they were already on the way of the cafeteria.

Although she didn't want to go she indeed wants some coffee, so she just tags along with him.

In the middle of their way she suddenly realizes Namjoon was still dragging her carrying both of their bag pack.

"Leave my hand why are you dragging me, I can walk myself. And why are you carrying my bag give it to me." Hana snatched her bag and marches ahead.

When they reach to cafeteria there were not many people, they quickly find to sit.

"What do you want to have, I will go and bring," Namjoon asked as he put his stuff down.

"Oh! No need I will do it myself." They both went to the counter to bring something they would want to drink.

They both were classmate and sit side by side in class but they were still unknown to each other. the airs around them were filled with awkwardness.

They both want to talk but still didn't know how to start.

Hana was even feeling more annoyed she was doing fine in the library all alone but he just drags her off and now both of them were voiceless. If he wants to just drink his juice silently why did he even tug her.?It was not like she was complaining; she was fine with the silent environment but she doesn't want awkwardness at all.

Namjoon was completing whether he should speak or not but looking at the annoying look of Hana blaming him for taking her out without reason, he decides to break the ice.

"So…. How is your study going?"

Hana finally breathes an air of relief. See it is not that hard to speak, what makes you so long time.

"Umm, good I guess. "Hana stir her cold coffee with a straw before taking a sip.

"How's yours?"

"As usual, besides we are unlike you we don't have any other things to do than reading."

Looking Hana confused look he explain calmly.

"You are the president of the student council you have a lot of things to do, have different responsibilities to fulfil. But we are free if we don't want to read than beside chilling around we don't have anything to do."

His explanation was quite true even she doesn't have to do much in council because she was on senior year but she still has to attend a meeting to keep tracking her members.

"If you don't have anything to do then join our council as a member. And it is better than chilling around."

"Your talent hunting mode is on again" he let out a light chuckled before continuing "besides I may not be suitable."

"Why? You are even suitable for the president position." Hana replied as a matter of fact.

"One should not give up their place easily, no matter how small or unimportant it is."

Hana nod at his word, she also strongly believes that a person should never admit defeat, they should work hard until they succeed by their own strength. Without hard work, a human is nothing even worse than animals.

That's why she was still waiting for her childhood friend, she was not sure why she was waiting or how long she can but she was still waiting.

Namjoon thinking she doesn't want a position due to pressure of study or responsibility he continued.

"sometimes not getting to fulfil the desire give us more strength to keep going or determination of not letting go make us strong. But if there will be a moment when you can't keep it up then little rest doesn't harm. It makes us more determined, so if you are tired then just let it go and enjoy your surrounding for a while then it will help you to move forward."

Hana just listens to Namjoon words silently the more he talks the more she wants to listen. With the complication created by herself and trapped in it, she was happy to listen to advice without even mentioning her problems to others.

"But if you are confine by something which doesn't help you then it is good if you let it go. It's better to chase it when you have enough power or when you understand it clearly."

That it is, it was the answer she was looking for. He was right, It's better to let go past. They haven't met each other for a long time maybe he has already forgotten about her but she was here not able to think properly.

Moreover, it was the promise made by children when they were naïve, they didn't know anything about themselves less about the world. So, it was not like she breaks her promise her something. She already tried and waited long enough now it's time to let go.

If Namjoon knows what she was thinking now and how his words have moved her enough to take decisions, then he will surely give himself a tight slap. Unknowingly he himself has made her distant. One day when he will know about this he will be fuming at his EQ.
