DELHI HERE I COME

1 and a half months after my result I took admission in Delhi University, one of the most prestigious universities of India.

The admission process took a long time.

I flew down from my home state, West Bengal to the capital city of India, Delhi along with my mother.

She was very skeptical of sending me so far away from home all alone.

As soon as we landed in Delhi, we headed straight to a hotel where we were supposed to stay for over a week.

The name of the hotel was 'Gorkha Bhawan'. Along with a fancy name, Gorkha Bhawan had the best food I have ever had in any other hotels.

We didn't want to waste any more time, hence we decided to go to the university and look over the admission process.

It was not an easy process.

I spoke to one of the interns about all the documents required. Luckily I had all of the enlisted documents.

The next day I visited the college where I wanted to study under Delhi University.

The college premise was very clean and well organized.

I was impressed by it's ambience. The spirit of the college was amazing.

Just like I had guessed, it took me about a week to complete all the procedures.

My mother being very practical even looked for a pg to stay in.

After completely organizing my fooding and lodging for about next three years, we focussed on shopping items for our house in Bengal.

I wanted to gift my brother something before leaving home and coming to study, so I brought him a 'Wrogn' trouser he had always wanted.

We also visited some of the monuments there.

My mother was very excited to visit since she was a history student.

Our last day of the week long trip was spend by visiting a temple named 'Akshardham'. Mobile phones were not allowed inside the temple .

Hence couldn't capture it's magnificent beauty.

We returned to our hotel by 8pm. While I started watching TV, my mother packed our bags.

Our food arrived right after my mother completed packing.

After having the food my mother retired to sleep while I continued watching TV for a while.

After exhausting myself I slept a sound sleep ready to go back home tomorrow for only a week before returning back to Delhi.
