Born a woman is a story about a girl who is a dreamer. She dreams of achieving heights in life. Her zest to compete with everyone who restricts her or puts her down is arguably thrilling. The main character in this story, Rhea is very proud of who she is and would always want to be her in each of her birth. She fights for herself and her dreams and does not allow anyone to crush her spirit.
Born in this male dominated society, women are subjected to be under the shadow of men. Even before their birth, norms are articulated for every women. Women cannot do this, women cannot speak this, women cannot think of this is all you hear while growing up. Women are born to be subjected to cruelty, to be lied to, to be hurt and most importantly are known as an embodiment of sacrifice.
Why do we allow ourselves to be sacrificed or to be treated in such an Ill manner.
Why do we allow men to decide our lives?
This story is about a girl , her dreams and aspirations and how society make it their utmost task to bring her down.
But the real question is "will she adhere to the society and change her way of life".
