Sigh

We arrived at Derbar before the evening.

Massive stone walls, lots of guards at the top of the walls and two standing behind a sealed door.

"HALT!" the door did not open. "State your identity!"

"Sean Jackson, Adventurer."

"Purpose of visit!?"

"To find work."

 I had my armor and robe on. I also said farewell to our horses.

"Show me your ID."

He took a look at my ID and paled. "Undead… I'm so very sorry sir!" The gates opened immediately and I was taken inside like royalty. The guards were shivering but I just ignored them.

At the other side, waited for me a quiet city. I thought the city would look European. Nope. It looked different. Vastly different from what I envisioned. They had rather odd shaped roofs. Some bent forward, others spiraled upwards. The buildings themselves weren't very square. Some were round. Some even pentagon or triangles! I even saw a hexagonal house!
