Zenaida must be still loving him

Because of uncle Matteo, she didn't become an orphan.

This is why, she is ignoring whatever thing which he is doing wrongly.

With these thoughts, Zenaida came to the front door of her house and the door was widely opened.

" The teacher won't come today and she asked us to read the next lesson by ourselves. So, anyone doesn't make any sound and do as the teacher instructed. If anyone was to behave in any wrong way, I'll write their name and report them to the teacher tomorrow."

Joy who is the class monitor of the 12- A class instructed to all of the students in the classroom in a very stern voice. Then, she went back to her own seat while observing the students' behaviours in the classroom one by one.

In this moment, Roy entered to the classroom first and then, Carl entered after him.

Joy looked at the both of their direction and she said to them " Carl and Roy, the teacher won't come today and you should read the next lesson by yourselves. "

Carl nodded his head slightly at her and Roy said " Roger it, class monitor"

After that, they both sat on their own seats.

Carl and Roy has been sitting together since the beginning of the high school.

After sitting on his seat, Carl started to take out the food which Zenaida has bought for him, from the polythene bag. He placed them on his desk and pushed the empty polythene bag in to the one of the corner in his desk locker.

There were a yoghurt drink and a packet of bun on his desk.

Roy looked at Carl and asked him " Are you going to eat them now?"

Carl nodded his head at him slightly while saying " I'm hungry because I didn't eat anything earlier."

After hearing this statement, Roy asked Carl again with a huge grin on his face " Didn't you say that you won't eat any strange's food?"

" It is not stranger's food. It is the food which Zenaida gave to me." Carl said in a casual voice while not taking Roy's words seriously at all.

" Tsk!! You are really no fun at all." Roy said and started to take out the things in his own polythene bag which Zenaida gave to him as a thank you gift.

Carl looked at what Roy was doing and he asked him " When did you go to the convenience store?"

" I didn't go. Zenaida gave them to me too." Roy said while putting the straw in to the yoghurt drink.

Carl asked him " Why would she buy you them?"

" It's because I'm the one who comforted her when you bullied her earlier at the cafeteria. " Roy said.

When Carl heard the words of Roy, there was a little bit displeasure on his face, eventhough he immediately changed his expression in to his usual neutral expression.

Because of Roy's words, Carl was again reminded of what happened at the cafeteria. He reminded of the way which Zenaida stared at that love letter while ignoring him.

Does Zenaida really still love him as before?

Was he truly mistaken the fact that she was staring at that letter in an intense way?

But, why didn't she tell him the details about it when he asked about it from her?

Does that letter really mean nothing to her?

Carl forgave Zenaida because he heard from Roy that Zenaida was acting very anxious after he left the table at the cafeteria at that time. He was also moved by the fact that she has been worried sickly about he is being hungry in the middle of the class too.

If Zenaida still doesn't love him, why would she worry about him being hungry in that way?

She has gone to the convenience store to just buy food for him and she even wrote a note saying sorry to him too.

If she doesn't love him, why would she waste her time in that way for him? Why would she write a note to apologise to him?

Also, why would she be anxious about him being angry at her?

If she was to love another boy, why would she care about him being angry at her?

Wouldn't it be better for her to be ignored by him in order to have a relationship with that boy?

Why would she being hang up on him in this way?

That letter, it must be really mean nothing to her. Otherwise she wouldn't act in this way at all.

Zenaida must have just staring at it mindlessly and she must not have noticed his presence at that time.

About not telling him about that letter, she must have had her own reasons for that as Roy said to him awhile ago.

Yeah. That must be it.

With these thoughts, Carl stared at the note which Zenaida wrote for him with a deep gaze.

Carl read the note which Zenaida wrote for him again and a small smile which was almost invisible to the naked eye of a human being appeared on the Carl's face.

Then, Carl turned around the other side of the note and read it too.

She is surely still loving him as much as she has always done for more than two years.

She is worried about him being hungry than he is being angry at her. He is not a small child who couldn't manage his own hunger.Carl really couldn't understand how Zenaida's mind is working at all.

Caring about a person skipping just a one meal

Being anxious about a person getting angry

trying their best to make up with a person

Is this what called love?

When a person in love, are they willing to do all these kind of things?

He still remembered how Zenaida stood up for him and lied to their school principal to save him from the further troubles about five months ago too. He couldn't understand what was going through her mind at that time when she took the initiative to stand up for him in a fearless manner.
