Loving Carl for completely different reason
Anyone would be careful around Carl instinctively even if they were to meet him for the first time in their life. Anyone wouldn't dare to easily mess around with him.
Top of that Carl is the top student in the whole grade. He is not only a good looking young man with high family status, he is a person with high intelligence too.
Zenaida couldn't understand how someone could be this perfect. It is very unrealistic to have the existence of this kind of all around perfect person in the world.
But her love is a someone who is this much extraordinary. She is so proud to love that kind of person.
But all these are not the reasons for her love towards him.
It is not his unreal handsome look.
It is not his powerful family background.
It is not his great grade at school either.
Her love for Carl is for completely different reason.
Zenaida wanted to turn her head around and looked at Carl. She doesn't want to miss this kind of rare opportunity to take a good glance at him.
Eventhough Carl and her are in the same class, according to their table arrangements in this term, she couldn't even take a proper look at him. So, she could only look at him in any kind of special occasions like this.
She doesn't want to miss a second of time at a good chance like this.
But she couldn't be so obvious in front of the other students and specially in front of Carl about her feelings. Also, It is not a very respectable act to look at a person in that way like looking at a fine art piece at a exhibition. But Carl himself is truly a fine art piece.
Zenaida doesn't want to be a bother to Carl too. It seems that Carl likes to be all alone without anyone's bothering.
He must be surely bothered by the everyone's gazes which he is receiving now. She doesn't want to be one of them and disturb Carl.
May be, she doesn't have the ability to avoid all other's gazes. But she would not bother him by her own behaviour.
With that thought, Zenaida didn't look back at Carl with her all courage. But she unconsciously clenched both of her hands which she was keeping on the table.
Ava looked at her best friend and she noticed that Zenaida's behaviour is a little bit weird. She seems to try so hard to hold something back.
Ava thought for awhile and she seems to have an idea of what was going on. She immediately turned her head towards the entrance of the cafeteria to confirm her guess.
As she predicted, it is Carl Solveig.
Carl Solveig is the only one who can make Zenaida's behaviour strange in this way. Zenaida must be trying so hard to not look at him.
Ava looked at her best friend again with a suppressing smile on her face.
Zenaida's this action of holding back from what she desires is really cute in Ava's eyes.
Anyone wouldn't expect this kind of behaviour from Zenaida because she looks like a very mature and very composed person compared to the others. Others consider Zenaida as a girl who is very dedicated towards her studies and a very strong hearted girl.
But the truth is different.
This side of Zenaida is only known by Ava. Because she is Zenaida's best friend since the beginning of the highschool.
Zenaida is very strong hearted whenever she wanted to. But she is truly innocent and pure in an indescribable way compared to any other girls at this school. Ava never have met this kind of innocent and pure girl in her life before.
With this thought, Ava whisperd to her friend in a small voice "Hey!! Zenaida, if you want to look at him, just look! Why are you trying so hard to hold back?"
Zenaida who was completely out of reality, came back to her senses after hearing the words of Ava. She said to Ava" I'm not crazy to look at him like that. What would others think of me? Specifically Carl. I don't want to become a person who is crazy about handsome guys like the other girls at school."
"Look there!! He is now in the front of you. Now, you can look at him freely without noticing by anyone. I'm also not going to interrupt your happy time and mind my own business. " Ava said to Zenaida and started to eat her lunch.
After hearing what Ava said, Zenaida immediately looked at Carl.
