Chapter 45

"Let's go," Hisashi said to Jozou who was waiting outside of the dojo.

"What do you mean 'Let's go'?" Jozou said, confused.

"Your master lend me to you. For a week. If you have disagreements, don't talk it out to me." Hisashi said and Jozou ran inside. By the time he came out, Hisashi was already gone.

"Where is that guy?" He asks himself as he ran down the mountain.

"The sun is about to set, Daredevil. What do you think? Well, what you think doesn't matter. After all, the money is already set. HAHAHAHAHA!" The burly man laughs as his opponent's face turned very serious. Since he bet that the man would come back by the end of the day.

Just as they laugh at the end of a famous gambler, the curtains divide which only some of them notice. When Daredevil stood up and laugh. They all look at him and they all finally saw the man with the straw hat. In his clothes, blood splatter can be seen.

Along with the two players, all the other people then believed it as the man winning the battle and killing or injuring the Manji. After all, the man is personally looking for the Manji School, a school known for its use of sharp weapons and spells, and most of the challengers wouldn't be spared without any scar or missing at least a finger.

Seeing the man, the Daredevil quickly walked to the server and ask for his money. However, before he can do so, the burly man stopped him.

"What? I win." The Daredevil looks at the burly man.

"Not yet. Lemme ask him." The burly man then confronts Hisashi who has now seated at the front of the server.

"Man. Are you new here? I just wanna ask seeing how you were looking for the Manji earlier. By the way, I'm Taokaka. I came from the Guntai School." Taokaka said to Hisashi, who did the same thing earlier by squeezing an apple for his sake.

Even after ten seconds, Taokaka's question wasn't answered. This pisses him a little as he asks again about what happened to his business with the Manji. However, again, no reaction. Hisashi kept drinking.

This causes him to raise his voice and it irritates Hisashi given how his voice gets more annoying.

"I don't want to spill more blood today. But if you keep on annoying me, I'll make you feel worse than who I did it to earlier." Hisashi said, with no indication of emotion in his voice. The man just swallows his saliva as the Daredevil gave three coins to the bartender and points at Hisashi.

Basically telling that Hisashi's drinking is on him while the rest is for the latter. This made him happy as he'd never seen people more generous than the two. After doing so, he left while the burly man looks at him in rage. He looks at someone in the crowd as he nods his head and he came back to his table.

As Hisashi finished, he left the bar with another bottle of sake as he walked back to the mountain area. Finally seeing Jozou and the campfire, Hisashi puts his things down and calls out with his voice.

"You can come out now. You have your business with me right?" Hisashi said. Afterward, five samurai came out of the dark.

"When did you find out?" Taokaka asks.

"I can cover this whole town with my Ki if I want to. You have nowhere to hide." Hisashi said before looking at Jozou.

"You made us lose our money. If you don't want any trouble, give us all your possessions." The burly man said as he takes out his sword.

"Samurai, huh? Is your honor worth so little? I would've bought it if you said the price. Also, how did you even lose?" Hisashi said, making Taokaka slightly pissed.

"Shut up! Give us your money! You may have challenged and won against the Manji, but with us five here, you two wouldn't win no matter how much you want to. That boogeyman of a clan won't scare me. Their status was only the result of Minami's fall." He said as he releases his scroll.

Hearing this, Jozou got angry but with his mask on, the man didn't see it. On the side, Hisashi calls out to him.

"Fight them," Hisashi said to him. Even though Jozou wanted to for insulting their school, he held himself back. "Why would I?"

"Because you lost to me. Technically, you losing caused them to lose their money." "Eh? That doesn't count."

"Just fight them. Remember what your master instructed you." Hisashi said, making Jozou sigh.

Taokaka got pissed at the two talking as if they weren't there. He summons his spell as a bunch of rocks covers his sword. Suddenly, Jozou's figure disappears from their vision. Confused, he activated his Ki but it didn't matter.

After all, two of his friends has already been slashed all over their bodies and he detected his enemy going for the other two. The other two also noticed this and defended themselves. However, they felt their hand cut off as their weapons fell to the floor.

Seeing this fighting style, Hisashi was intrigued. Jozou's body melted into the atmosphere, essentially making his presence near to none and almost invisible. Even if the enemies detected him, dealing with him would be tricky.

Not long after, Taokaka fell down on his knees, and his body did too. Jozou reappears as he takes meat from his bag.

Seeing the boar meat, Hisashi looks at his clothes. 'Oh, that's why.' He thought to himself.

He then uses his water bubble to heal the five which surprises Jozou who just defeated them.

"Why are you healing them? They were here to fight you right?" Jozou asks as he fills his mask and takes a bite of the cooked meat.

"I don't want to lose my appetite. I've already killed a boar. I don't want to see another one." Hisashi says as he takes an apple from his bag.

"Finish that quickly. You still have many things to do in the early morning. Also, that's the only one that you'll get for the next seven days."

"What?" Jozou asks as he looks at Hisashi who didn't give him any response.
