Chapter 5, NO GODS OR KINGS

I slowly open the door

As i open the door dust blows out hitting us, i rub my eyes as the rest of us wave the dust away

"Lights are out, flashlights" i take my flashlight from my pocket and shine it into the room

I move it side to side in the open room, for a split second I see something moves to the right, just out of sight.

Fin taps my shoulder and points above. Everyone's flashlights move up the walls to a large metal head on the wall

I slowly walk into the room as I lower my flashlight, the light lands on a red banner, it reads "no gods or Kings, only man"

"Creepy" Fin says as he walks in. We all follow in.

I look to my friends, "try and see if we can get the lights on. I like being able to see"

We all spread out and start Searching the room, I head to the right and find a staircase leading down. I slowly start going down the stairs when I suddenly hear something fall over down below

(I don't like this..)

I yell back to the guys that I'm going down.

I slowly click open my gun holster, my gun is a Steyr Model 1911 given to me by a friend who fought in Vietnam.

I slowly put one foot in front of the other till I reach the bottom of the stairs. As I reach the bottom I scan my flight side to side

The room is basically empty, besides a open drop in the middle of the room there's nothing here. I sway my flashlight along the walls until I see a electric box I walk over to the electric box and flip the switch

The lights flicker on and off until they properly turn on. I turn to look at the hole and see a flash of darknes drop into the hole. Electricity follows whatever falls in.

I yell up the stares as i walk twords the hole," someone get down here!"

I kick a rock down the hole and wait a minute until i hear a splash.

"And bring the diving suit!"
